she said there was no blood in the bar and then she went on to speculate what she think happened across the street. My guess she or one of her 17 guards heard stuff. Now what kind of place is this that has to have 17 guards on a Sat. night Sunday Morning?

Sounds like CYA on the bar owners side. The bar already has a history, so the last thing she needs is to have the city shut it down.

Did that place used to be called the "Citizen's Club"?

Oh man, I went there a few times with some football players back in the early 90's. David Palmer was a LEGEND there. Pretty sure leaving there is where he got one of his DUIs. Good times.

And Bobby Humphrey got his jaw broken there back in the day.

ETA: But a quick Google search says this place is NOT where Citizens Club used to be. Citizens Club was almost to Fosters past the BF Goodrich plant and past Nick's In the Sticks. Hell, it may still be open.

This bar owner going to the media and sharing a "rumor" that she "heard"? What is this, middle school? If there's more to the story, it's the cops job to figure it out--not her job to blabber to the media about something she has no real clue about. Sounds like she's begging to get sued.

If any truth to that rumor, Raekwon will not play this weekend & probably many other weekends.

He wasn't arrested and I'm sure the police have already looked at any footage available.

Back in the 60s and 70s, we'd go there after the clubs shut down in town (city law). It was basically a black night club, but we knew many of the patrons and were welcomed...best music in town. The law was all over the road after midnight down there, so you had to be careful.

He still hasn't practiced yet according to Saban this morning. That seems a bit odd to me if the wound was truly a "graze." Typically a "graze" is just a wound to the outside of the skin--no internal damage. Basically a large cut. If that's all it is, wouldn't they wrap him up and let him go? Seems like it may be more serious than a "graze" for him to miss multiple practice days. Heck, Deaderick had a bullet go through his leg and still played the next week.

Not trying to be insensitive, but if it's truly a graze-- they need to wrap Raekwon up, give him some pain meds and tell him to "man up." This is FSU we're opening with, not Kent State.

Ha, I was there a couple of times as well in the early 90s. And yes, that's where Palmer was leaving when he got popped for DUI. Place was rough back then...can't imagine how it is now if it's still open.

Or his not practicing could be part of his punishment.

It would punish him because he made a stupid decision.

He's been at practice since Tuesday not for media viewing and was there yesterday. He will play when needed sat.

So he won't start? What packages do you think we see him in or will he just be a rotational player in this game?

He is a starter in base but Payne and Hand for nickel (starting) which we are in 85% of the time. Since it's 2 DL and 2 OLB hands down. He will rotate regularly if I had to guess.
