Anybody know what song we kept piping in when the defense was on the field? No lyrics, just instrumental, but it fired everyone up (including State). They played it like 100 times.

Yeah it got the D super fired up the first 2 or 3 times but then they overdid it IMO.

Here's another question. Did anyone else think the piped in band sounded like shite?

A lot of Black frats use that song at their parties. It's pretty cool. It really did a good job of hyping up the players and the fans.

All I could hear was piped in music. It's pretty disappointing TBH. I'm all for getting the players amped and the crowd to get involved, but the Scott Cochran screaming piece they play over the PA has got to go. Awful

well here i go again, seeing it different. i liked it. its been a few years since i was at a game. so i was pleasantly surprised with the upgraded music, stadium jams. and enjoyed halftime too. the players were pumped, the crowd was pumped, over all great atmosphere. i dont see any issue.

At the end. They miked the band and played them through the speakers all game. Sounded terrible and way too loud.

I'm for whatever fires up the players, students, and recruits.

Seemed to work with all of the above. From where I am in the student section everyone seems to have way more of a reaction to the piped in music than anything the band plays.

And all of my friends in the student section talk about the awesome piped in music. I just wish they would quit trying to squeeze it in between plays. Five seconds of Money for Nothing just sounds dumb. This isn't an NBA game.
