A lot of y'all like guys based on their national ranking coming out of high school. Najee is good but he's not a great RB. Sorry not sorry. I'm a Bama fan who calls it as I see it. Down vote if you like I'll live.

Every opportunity Brian Robinson has been given he's looked better than Najee. This is Trent Richardson and Eddie Lacey all over again. Sometimes the unheralded guy is better. Come to think of it what does it say when the unheralded guy gets the same scholarship as the nationally recognized player at a big time university? The coaches think the unheralded guy is just as good if not better than the big name guy.

JMO but this new punter is as average as average can be. He is a 38 yard punter at best.

luckily our starting qb negates the need for this position

The media needs to quit asking Coach Saban, who the starting quarterback is.

The Big Ten officiating crew was terrible.

Jalen Hurts needs to be groomed to another position. Many previous college qbs did that to succeed in the NFL.

I do see a lot of people on the OL. Like Tamu did last year LV did a lot of stunts and overloads. They played well considering those elements.

The coaches should have spent this summer grooming Jalen for another position. Something he may could take to the League.

That would be on Jalens dad, he has already been told that his son will not play in the NFL as a QB by an NFL scout but reality has yet to set into his thick skull.

About 14 years ago we had to start the #3 guy, but all it takes is one or two plays.

This. Somebody doesn't remember Brandon Avalos.

My complaint is that I now have to wait 6 days to see Tua play football again.

^^^This.

And a situation that got me thinking about the negativity of a rule change, that I don't like to begin with.

There was a 15 yd penalty on L'ville after we scored a TD. With the fair catch rule, there is no advantage there unless you want to try an onside kick.

Just my 2 cents.

My thread last night was mild mannered and probably misinterpreted by me but I didn't melt, cry, criticize or show my arse at all and you are up in here talking like I deserve a ban or something? What the frick dude? You don't have to be such an a-hole. I didn't do anything wrong last night or this morning.

Lighten up, Francis.

That's your problem. You take this shite way too personally.

I probably do take this shite to personal bro but it is irritating to see a post like yours mentioning banning someone over what they posted the night before when I only made one single post. The post wasn't over the line and nobody was insulted but there you were assuming I had gotten myself banned or was on the verge of doing so. Sorry but that pissed me off. I haven't been on here even really discussing the quarterback issue. You guys are the ones who need to lighten up on me. Anyway, Roll Tide.

1. Officiating (noted by OP).
2. Playing Hurts before halftime.
3. Dumb penalties; roughing QB, block in back.

SIAP - Benton, is lazy. Maybe the lightbulb with ignite and he will see the light, but he seems lazy or just Ben Davis Clueless...
Let's see Ben on the field next week. Kid has got to get his head on straight if not, hope he graduates by end of this year and moves on. No need to keep "being on the roster" at Bama

Who does the participation charts for these games? They left off 19-X Marks I was looking over my own chart and looked at the RollTide.com chart (Thinking that I could have missed some) But how do they miss Marks... how many 19's do we have on the roster... 1 I didnt see him until the last few plays but he was in there. And I understand, it is better to get reps for the new WR's than the Sr guy who is moving on.

1. Missed assignments on defense, but expected with so many new players and roles

2. Hated playing Jalen so early cause it killed the momentum but Saban said they had a plan and they stayed to it.

3. Missed call on the Quinnen William's chop block.

4. Locksley in the booth. Felt some plays should have been changed due to a blitz and they never checked out. If you dont trust Tua to dothat, the OC has to be on the sideline in my book to change the play for him

If the kicking game doesn't change, we may wrestle the title of "wide right u" away from Florida St.

New kicker had four waaaay right kicks. Hope his butt isn't as tight as mine wil be next we really need him to make a kick.

Honestly, the crazy thing about our kicker issues are that we, the fans, all anticipate them to suck arse. Name another position at Alabama where the fan expectation is so damn low. The pressure is arguably the lowest of any position (except in big games which really is rare... what one-two games a year?).

We are so far from this it's silly.

We haven't lost a single championship due to missed FGs. And kicking has helped us win a few.

After Bama misses out on the playoffs 3 or 4 times as a direct result of a missed FG to auburn or in the SEC champ game at the end of the game, then we can talk.

Bama fans are stupid.

Being the first game, overall about what I expected. With the exception of boneheaded fouls. And I don’t understand how we can have so much trouble with kickers. What’s the deal?
