1 - Yes i defended the kid all year, but Ty needs to go. Mentally he just isn’t it when adversity strikes. Part of it is the OL and having no confidence but I think he just needs a change of scenery. NFL or portal, give him the walking papers.

2 - Guards from the portal. Hell OL across the board if Brailsford doesn’t come back.

3 - New OL, new S&C coach.

We have a lot of good young talent, and some of that hasn’t had time to properly develop, but the physical weakness of the team is appalling.

Ty is gone. He was telling the coaches he loved them on the sideline.

We have an absolute dog coming in at RB and if he doesnt start the staff is clueless. None if the RBs or OL play with fire on this team.

He's got to be able to pass protect if he want to see the field. Hopefully Dear sticks around and makes improvements in that category. Definitely need a rb out of the portal.

The kid hasn’t taken a college snap yet. We don’t what he is going to be. We need new OL coach, new ST coach, we need experienced OL/DL/and RB from the portal. Probably need LB as well.

I've defended Ty as well.

Tonight was a shitshow by him. I don't see how an NFL team would want him - I just don't. Once people got film on him, he was toast.

TY will not progress under these coaches. I think he has talent but he needs new coaches and a sports psychologist. AND he needs to move on to get a new start.

He should transfer to Indiana. Probably win the Heisman with Cig as his coach.

Exactly, they've got all these kids heads messed up with no idea what to do.

Let him get some good coaching in the nfl then we'll see one way or the other.

I have been asking for a psychologist like Saban had, for Ty, since the FSU game.
He gets rattled too easily to be a great QB.

Honestly when you can block well it doesn’t matter what you call. I think he’d be fine if he had a better OL who could run block better. Teams always stacked the box against early Saban teams but it didn’t matter you still couldn’t stop it.

So is Cig better than Saban now because he's the one who recruited Ty and he's the one who decided to leave Ty on the bench and go with a very limited Milroe.

Cig wouldn't even look Ty's way. Mental toughness is something he can't magically give him. When pressure comes he will always revert

You can chart the loss of toughness, physically and mentally, since David Ballou was hired in 2020. He came from Indiana, and in 6 seasons turned Bama into exactly what Indiana was in 2020. Average, maybe a little below average.
DeBoer's laid back style only amplifiers this decline.

I remember when AK dear was the best back on the roster

The success relies largely on the line, if you’re taking -1 yards before contact then you’re not getting any runs

The people blaming this on Ballou are being stupid. The guy quite literally was the driver for Notre Dame’s lines at one point. “Toughness” is not an issue with the line, it’s the execution.

Under Ballou our run game was great with Saban. Our pass blocking sucked with Wolford. Now we have the inverse issue

What I want to see most is Grubb on a plane out of T-Town along with the OL Coach and RB Coach.

I am glad I don't have to watch #0 try to make a tackle again
I am glad #1 will no longer play DB for Bama. Why does that guy get snaps?

The entire RB room needs to be dismissed tomorrow. Hope I never see another F swing pass to #4 running lateral to the LOS for a 1-yard gain,

Ty leaving is a good plan for Bama.

I sat through that debacle in person and I don’t think Ty was remotely the issue there for us honestly

The playcalling on the other hand…

Just consistent first and second down runs for 0 yards. And Grubb kept doing it, over and over again. You know it’s not working, just go air raid where we’re carving them up.

To open the second half we went double screens and immediately put ourselves into third and 11 with two wasted downs

You could see on multiple plays with Mack, trying to throw ourselves into the game, that guys like RW were getting open deep. Why didn’t we call that?

The gameplan seemed run heavy, using play action and screens as an extension of the run game. In what world did Grubb think that was a good idea?

Yeah definitely not him fumbling, consistently missing wide open players downfield even though he had more time and less pressure than Mendoza or his poor decision making.

Yeah all of those were caused by his injury, or coaches, or RW or Santa Claus or Easter Bunny or or or

The Bama playbook is a clusterfeck. He was fired for a reason at Seattle and should be sent packing now. Eat the buyout tomorrow.
