Data, I lost my wife back in 2018. It’s a pain unlike any other. Go to the local Emergency Room right now and let them know what is going on with you. You have to stay here in this life for your children; they’ve lost 1 parent already and you’re all they have left. Please do what I am asking you to do. You are in my prayers, my brother.

I am really impressed with all the moral and financial support here for Data. I know we banter daily and sometimes may go overboard, but when it matters— you all have heart and compassion. Each of you should pat yourself on the back!

It gives me goosebumps thinking about how our little community can come together so well. No one on here should ever feel ashamed to reach out when they are in a difficult situation...we've proven that 99% of us wont judge and step up when called upon.

According to the OT thread, he posted on his wife’s Facebook page yesterday evening saying that she had passed.

First, I want to thank all of you for what you have done to help this family. Carri is my niece, this is very real.Carri's mom is my husband's sister. While I don't know (David) Eric well because they live in another state, I can tell you the whole family is devastated.
I'm sure David is overwhelmed right now and will be back when he is able. Please continue to pray for them. As soon as the obituary is released, I'll try to post it here. Thank you again. Carri will be sorely missed by her friends and family. This is her Facebook post following the surgery. I don't know how to attach the pic without downloading and saving it.

Edit: I'm pretty sure he took a couple of xanax, a couple of the pain pills meant for her that he said he filled yesterday, drank some alcohol, and accidentally (or purposely) put himself into lala land for the last 24 hours. I know I would want to do the same if my wife died.
