Losing Horton hurts more than most think. Dude was severely misused this year. How many fade routes or 50/50 balls did they throw his way? Hate to see him go!

I do hate to see him go. I liked him and his talent. He was very reliable as a pass catcher.

Please add the long snapper to our transferring in list. It would make me feel better.

This year TK missed the first part of the year, then was playing hobbled for a while, before closing strong when fully recovered. It is only fair to use 2024 for comparison to Smith’s paltry numbers for a full year of playing 15 games vs Keenan’s 13 games from last year. 23 tackles from a starting DL is not much. Keenan had 40, almost double Smith’s 23, as a NT in 2 less games.

i was thrilled when Alabama signed Smith. He may have given his all, if so it’s not his fault, but he has not lived up to the hype. He seemed to have a really live body to go with good size. He was likely one of whom Ha Ha spoke when he said they were looking for production not potential. He said, “what have we lost?”.

So posts childhood picture in Bama gear to Instagram then finalizing deal with LSU hours later. College football is so broken.

It feels like we aren’t winning much. I’m assuming we just aren’t ponying up financially? Seems like we could give more than SC. LSU doesn’t surprise me. They seem like the type to live in a single wide and drive a hellcat.

Well, I guess that’s that.

Second time another school has swooped in right before a guy was supposed to visit? It’s ruthless out there.

I think we have most of our money tied up in the high school recruiting class. Unfortunately I don’t think in the current system that leaning on HS classes is going to be the winning formula. You’ll constantly be relying on young players because developing your own players is no longer part of the game.

We should have cleared a significant amount of money off the books with the guys going pro and the guys entering the portal.

Sure, but we also had to or will have to give raises to several guys.
