Drop him in sorority row until the portal closes.

Pussy still has to count for something.

Since buying dominant IDL is so expensive, you’ve got to develop it unless you can spend 30+ million on a roster.

Unfortunately, we don’t have a DL coach that develops most of the D-linemen we have.

The other day it was reported we had 73 on the roster. That leaves 32 spots open. Need a starting LB, at least 1 more starting OL, DL and maybe RB after that give me another 10 OL and 10 DL for depth and develop into starters with 3 years of eligibility. Skill positions through HS recruiting

I need an editor. I tend to get a little wordy.

That evil mofo on a tricycle bringing the NIL contract to sign whilst handcuffed to a radiator in a boiler room sounds a bit much.

I’m just messing with you man. I remember you’re new to the board. Pretty much everything I say on here is me goofing around. I just wanted to make a Saw joke

I'm a writer, so I'm actually taking notes. Thanks for the idea.

On scholarship (as of last season). We have way more than 73 on the roster. IF we fund 105 scholarships you can simply expect many of those “last 20” to simply go to walk-ons from last year, or PWOs added this year.

So what’s the deal with this guy? Real target or just due diligence from staff?

That's not bad comparison. Solid reliable player.

The first page on this thread shows we currently have 79 on the roster including those already transferring in. If correct that means we have 26 more spots to add. No reason we cannot add transfer into the remaining spots. Our program is not financially broke, just not willing to throw 4+ million at one player. Why pay an OT 4 million for one year when you can pay 8 for the same amount that all have 3 years of eligibility left to play? Some may not pan out but I have depth and the opportunity to develop what I need instead of going into the portal after every season for an expensive one-year mercenary. Just an example

He had a breakout year at Yale. Missed 2023 for injury which kept him to only 3 games in 2024 but 2025 not bad in a run heavy offense.

Recorded seven games with 100 or more receiving yards
His 108.5 receiving yards per game led the nation
AFCA FCS First-Team All-American
Walter Camp FCS All-American
