The thing that pisses me of the most is the fact that they were still making the same bone headed mistakes that they have all year. They never learned from them. I want to blame the coaches, but they can only do so much. The players have to start making improvements. I expect that from freshmen, but these are upper classmen making the majority of the mistakes.

Our coaches have gotten their asses handed to them in our last 4 big games. Jalen bailed us out of the first one.

So now Auburn has more class and a better coach than us?

In this game, yes. In every crucial moment today they proved it. That’s not even a question.

Gus is a hayseed coach but in this moment today he ran circles around Saban.....again.

The backup qb threw 2 pick sixes, one in the endzone, so at least a 14 point swing. Other than that we were fine. We kind of dominated them outside that bullshite

The first pix six was deep in Bama territory. There’s no guarantee we would’ve scored on that drive and AU wouldn’t have scored on the resulting. The second pick six was definitely a 14 point swing because it’s super close to a TD

It's starting to feel like the core of the program is gone.

That's because it is.
Saban is all about defense, discipline, toughness, emotionless football.
It goes hand in hand with his age.

Football now is all about freewheelin, loose, gunslingin offense, while defense is secondary.
Saban is out of his element at this point.
He doesn't know how to implement this new offense, or how to defend it. He's lost, and coordinator-dependent.

His clock management skills, or lack thereof, are becoming a serious issue.
Our offense is CONSTANTLY getting flagged for false starts, and our defense has never been able to cover the middle of the field (or a running QB)

Idk how much longer this is going to go on. I'm hoping the next 2 years are better, but I'm at a loss for optimism at this point.

Anyway he moves to edge rusher? Or are we going to hope he improves by more experience and better players around him as well?

I hope he moves to the bench and we bring in some recruits that can take his place on the field
