This forum is basically becoming unreadable. Everything is terrible, our coaches, our players, everything. I dread the first bad season but a purge will do us good.

I guess we could just sit around and see the world through crimson glasses and never say anything negative... Just like tide fans... No thanks.

There’s a massive difference in criticism and the stupid arse takes on this board from the likes of your ilk.

I used to be on the “no player criticism” team, but NIL and transfer rules have moved my position.

It struck me watching my QB in no less than two commercials during our game.

My family and I talked about when Bryce would have time to travel and film the commercials.

NIL has completely changed college football.

It doesn’t cause me to root less for them, but I understand this is now a professional sport, with professional athletes.

I don't agree with the OP of this thread, but if you mean fans that actually be objective when talking about the good and the bad stuff the team is doing.... Then, count me in. Happy doo da day to you, Ned Flanders.

My sentiments exactly. Some of these guys are cashing major checks. With major checks the concept of amateurism is dead. These guys are pros and will be criticized like any other pro athlete in my opinion.

I'm celebrating Tua as he's my favorite Bama player but Bryce has never been on Tua's level. Not even close. Now, Bryce and Taulia, seriously, is closer than you might think.

Our offensive issues aren't all on the OL and WRs. Our QB is terrible throwing long passes. It doesn't look like he has command of the offense. He has good decision-making for the most part but he's far from the best QB in the nation or the SEC. Bryce is being exposed.

Two thoughts:
1) I hate Alabama's offense. It is like a pickup basketball game where one really good player is a ball hog and takes almost all the shots while everyone else just basically rebounds for him

2) Bryce didnt design the offense, he just does what he is asked to and with the weapons he has this year, hes done a pretty good job. I just dont see anyone else out there id trade him for

How many conference games did Bryce win last year? Who would you want to replace him? Milroe? Simpson? Why are you shitting on him? Does it make you feel better?

Bryce Young just tries to overdo it sometimes. He's always looking for the chunk play instead of just taking what the defense is giving him. The only problem he's having right now is TUNNEL VISION. Bryce isn't seeing the entire field right now.

Bill O'Brien hasn't helped much though... that's a FACT!

Bro what the heck are you on? Like seriously?

Tua was blessed with 4 receivers that all went first round.

Disagree wholeheartedly.

That was Tua's downfall.

Bryce distributes the ball to the right place as well as AJ or Mac.

He's simply handcuffed with bad scheme and playcalling.

BoB has a Corvette and drives it 5 mph under the speed limit in the far right lane of an open desert interstate with no police presence

I genuinely don't understand what y'all are seeing. His main problem on the deep ball is he is overthrowing guys. That's more of a touch problem than an arm strength problem.

This is what kills me about this take. If it was a touch complaint, at least there would be some semblance of evidence to fall back on. The dude isn't underthrowing receivers, he's overthrowing them out of an abundance of caution (attempting to put it where only his guy can get to it). It's one of the biggest reasons Williams had such a big year last year: he's a tough guy to overthrow. For the last several years, we've had an incredible downfield receiver with crazy speed. While the Burton throw was an overthrow and definitely on Bryce, does anyone truly think that if that was Williams it wouldn't have been a TD? We don't have that guy this year, and it shows.

I agree. How often does Bryce check down? I don't see him checking down often.
