In case its disappointing to see so missed recruiting evaluations. Almost all the guys out there were 4 and 5 star guys.

Easy bro, don’t make that point. Or point to the fact that there are websites entirely dedicated to deciding how much talent is on each team. There are people here that think that our players are to blame for rushing the on third and long.

Some weeks after Milroe is drafted, we'll see a story about him getting a historically low score on the Wonderlic.

To your point, has anyone here ever selected a RB early in their fantasy league that plays with a QB like Milroe ?

Not me. I have a hard rule on not drafting RB's that play with a QB that will ALWAYS call their own number on the 2 yard line, and lead the team in carries every week.

Quarterbacks like Milroe are death to the RB position, and IMO a detriment to the overall balance of any offense.

This bullshite offense that never feeds the RBs, and hopes for an eventual busted coverage to save the day needs to be totally scrapped.

Can't do that until Milroe moves on.

Same problem we had with Hurts, QB running comes at the expense of NFL running backs

So what you're saying is that the other qb may rely more on the RBs. Becsuse if so, I'm for it.

Milroe had played well this year but he did not play well today. He did score 3 TDs but his 3 turnovers (safety is a turnover in practice) were largely why Alabama was nursing a 1 point lead late.

It isn't just about how talented the guys are. Except for the freshmen, they were all recruited to play 3-4. Those days are over. I'm not sure the players that were recruited by Saban have adjusted well to the new scheme. Especially the LBs and DBs.

I'm not suggesting I agree with the play calling on D 100% of the time. But the fact of the matter is the safeties look fricking lost and the corners are green.

I agree 100% we can’t have these young guys covering my for 4-5 seconds. The problem is the lack of blitzing especially on third down. We are letting their QBs have time to pick and choose. In my opinion, it stems from terrible linebacker play. I just never figured I’d see the day that I’d want Peter Golding back.

By all means continue to turn a blind eye, and blame the defense.

It's truly mind-boggling why so many don't want to place the blame where it lies: with the offense. A large part of that is Milroe making just ridiculous decisions.

The defense has not been putting us in these bad situations.

Milroe has not grown as a quarterback since his first start two years ago. Still makes the same dumbass decisions. We were incredibly fortunate that we didn’t lose today. If we had, the five points that he directly gave to South Carolina would have been the difference.

It always becomes hyperbole and then we start from square one and that is why I keep coming back .

I'm not there yet. It takes time and personnel to change a defensive scheme.

And I'd much rather have a coach try to run his scheme with players that don't know it, than have a coach try to change his scheme to something he doesn't know to fit the players he has.

Players can be replaced by attrition and recruiting.
5-1 is 5-1. Winning is all that matters. If it's by 2 or 20

4 also got the ball knocked out a half step into foul territory or else we would have been looking at yet another turnover today.

It looked like he fumbled a step past the goal line which went as a TD but was almost another disaster

What gets me is when people claim nobody is critical or shits on Milroe.

He gets absolutely crapped on even when he is elite

"a STEP past the goal line." He was at least 3 yards into the end zone. Come on PooHound, do better.

But that would ruin his narrative of crapping on Jalen. He made mistakes today and has all year, but he scored the last two TD’s which is all that matters.

He's always had the exact same flaws. I really hoped he would have worked on them between seasons, but I see no change.
