Or some dude with a cheese stash from Kentucky rolls his way up Robert Hory’s knee late in the game causing Hory to react and get tossed from an important game, which we then lose.

Just possibilities.

It may have been Shows daddy that called the block on Leon Douglas in 76 vs Indiana.

The fact that we can even have this conversation and be serious about it is hard for me to believe. Too many years of mediocrity have been hammered into my brain.

Brandon Miller will go pro, but it wouldn't hurt him to get another year of college under his belt. He needs one more year to mature and get more consistent.

How can you watch a true freshman get faceguarded for 40 minutes, still remain locked in on defense, hit his FTs, and knock down two ice cold 3s with the game on the line in an extremely hostile environment and come away with this conclusion? That is literally how a pro responds to those circumstances.

Yep. There were quite a few pro scouts there last night. And there'll be more showing up for his games.
Lock lottery pick = Brandon Miller.

I guarantee you this thread will have no bearing on whether we win a NC or not.

Your last sentence is just crazy.
He is not consistent enough right now and he is letting his emotions get the best of him. He will go scoreless for half of games.

Yea, that happens sometimes. He's gonna go get paid tens of millions of dollars to be a Top 5 pick and develop against other pros (which he is now) in a professional league while making tons of money.

If we applied the standard you are applying to all college basketball players the draft would be about 3 picks long and consist of only 5th year seniors who have super low ceilings.

This team ain't some mentally weak floating around with no plan Gottfried team.

They might lose in the postseason, but the other team is gonna have to earn that shite.

I agree but Gonzaga showed the rest of the basketball world how to beat this team. I imagine there are a few teams in the former Big East or whatever they are calling themselves that play like them and UConn.

is there an NIL database out there. I know the schools are aware for compliance reasons who they sign with and how much but is it where common folks can see? But sir you are not common which is why I am asking.

Sure shooting 73% in a half will beat us, not many teams that wouldn't beat but I wouldn't say thats a replicable blue print teams can use to beat us. We have the 6th ranked defense according to KenPom.

Teams with a dominant big man are going to beat teams and they were on fire that night feeding Timme.

We've already played 4 of 6 best big men in the country in Bacot, Timme, Oscar and Sanogo (the others being Eddey at Purdue and Dickinson at Michigan).

The team that obviously would fit that mold of having a big and some shooters who have not yet played is Purdue. But we're not playing Purdue in the NCAAT until the Elite 8 or the Final Four. A team like Arizona could fit that mold as well with their 2 bigs - but again, not going to see them until an Elite 8 or Final Four.

The "style" that will give us trouble is a style that only elite teams have, because there just aren't many skilled bigs anymore.......and especially not skilled bigs combined with good guards. If you have that, you are going to be an elite team.

If we struggled with teams that place with pace and make 3s and couldn't score ourselves at times? That makes you vulnerable to all sorts of teams in the tournament - including mid majors. The style that we struggle with is something that basically nobody outside of teams that will be top 2 seeds has, and that makes our floor as a tournament team SUPER high.

U know your BB for sure. I am a novious at the rest of the teams as I only watch Bama and some of the SEC teams. I very seldom will watch others unless it is a NC vs Duke etc. So you will be Da Man for me going foward. And that Purdue guys is for real
