I've seen the order be totally out of whack in practice videos before but it's interesting that Andrew found it noteworthy

Yeah it'd been a little whacky sometimes, but I wouldn't take that right now to mean anything. Hart and Fowler are both coming off of injuries, and Henry is a freshman having to learn the little things. Remember last year, Yeldon was at the back of the line. So what I'm trying to say is it likely doesn't mean Roberts is above the others on the depth chart, but I think we all knew that.

I'm still thinking it's gonna be :

Yeldon as the top back
Fowler/Henry as the primary backup, sharing the role. I think both will see time at FB and some H-Back depending on the set, and I do think Drake may be improving his chances on having a role. It could easily be completely different from what I said, but as of 6:11 pm on April 12th, 2013, I think that by the time the season gets into full swing, Yeldon, Henry, and Fowler will be the top three guys.

As long as Drake doesn't put himself in the doghouse again, he's getting a lot of touches directly behind Yeldon. Passblocking is still in question, but Fowler is probably the only back who has proved himself in that regard.

He was apparently the best player on the field at the 1st scrimmage. Says a lot, as Cooper and White were great as well.

I would think it will be:

TJ; Drake/Fowler; with the last spot open for competition between Hart, the walk-on, and the three freshman.

If I had to pick, I would assume Henry would probably land that third spot and Fowler would see as much or more time at HB as he does at RB.

I am excited about Drake. He showed some explosiveness last year. He actually had a couple of sweet touchdown runs against WKU and Arkie.

@Andrew_Gribble: Though he's been non-contact, RB Jalston Fowler has been able to participate some in scrimmages. Dee Hart slightly ahead in recovery.

@ChaseGoodbread: Xzavier Dickson did not scrimmage today (knee bruise). Per Saban, he's played DE in some nickel situations.

Forget the OL, I'm most worried about our corners.

Could we see AJ throw 5 TDs in a game this year?

Only 3 more incompletions than TDs between McCarron and Sims, DBs got worked today.

I'm hoping it's more AJ and WRs being that good than it is DBs being that bad, but it is a concern

I want to see the lengths of the TDs, which usually shows up later.

Looks like an experience ordeal, as there isn't a lot of it. It apparently shone through today in the form of technique...

Regarding the OL..NS in something I saw or read was highly complementary of the OL.. That is unlike him so he must be pleased with their progress. I think he said something about being comfortable with the top 7. If the starters are the Cujo brothers at LT and RG and 70 at starting center, and Steen and shepherd then we have no one with less then 3 years in the system in the lineup.

I'm really pumped to see what this offense can do under Nuss, with a year under his belt and nearly every skill position returning. Just hope we stay healthier this year, than last year. And can't wait to see the H-back position and see how big a role they play in the passing game, and how much better they make the run game this year.
