I honestly don't believe that Saban and staff are looking for that "super star" QB. People tend to lean too much on that type of guy, and you're always 1 play away from disaster with that guy. Imo, they'd love a smart, athletic distribution manager under center.

The Double A hype opposite Humphrey has been real since the spring.
Not to mention Mayden and Shy getting more and more looks.
Hope it gets worked out though and comes back, patience is becoming a lost virtue...

Rather them walk early than wait til a Senior and make adjustments. With all the superstars Bama has put out, especially under Saban, there have really been very few prima donnas or those that couldn't handle competing against the best. Wish him well, now got a spot for someone who wants to be the best and earn it.
