I remember marveling at how healthy Alabama teams would remain all year during the early part of this run.

When Hightower got hurt it was a complete shock.

Now it is a biweekly occurrence.

I feel for the guys amd their families and honestly don't know how much more of this season I can take.

I understand this completely. The older I get, the harder these injuries hit me. It's not just Bama players either. These kids put everything into this, and then to see it taken away, just kills me

Unless they've made advancements?

It's been 30 years.

Jackson's injuries were exacerbated because we didn't understand the importance of blood flow to injuries to the hip, among other things.

Yes, there have been advancements.

This season is a lot like 2010, injuries derailed that season too.

Official Alabama vs Mississippi State Game Thread
Why would anyone think 4 TDs is comfortable with this defense and MSU getting the ball first in the second half?

Because they've got a whopping 92 yards of total offense for the whole half.

“Left him for two minute drill practice.”

Shula must have left Prothro in for deep ball practice.

I can’t believe honestly that tua would roll out in the same direction as the last injury knowing he can’t run well and hold the ball like he did. Man if only he just threw it away.

Bet you believe Prothro should have been pulled too.

4th quarter, 4th down, and up 28-0. Yes, he should not have been in.

You think Bryce Young and all the other recruits aren't seeing this and wondering if Saban doesn't care about player safety?

It was still the first half. I can’t seriously have a problem with him still being in there. Sucks he got hurt but shite happens.

We've had injuries nearly derail every year the past decade.
I really would like to know stats on injuries and see if Alabama has had more injuries than every other team.

2010 says hi

Seriously all our injuries happen at 2 or 3 spots now instead of being spread around.

That happens during every Bama game. No matter what happens.
