They are now at 200+ rush yards and 5.5 YPC. And this ain't because of a few big QB runs either.

our second unit D sucks

Right up the middle and another 9. This defense is eerily similar to '14, but with a better secondary and worse linebackers.
Well, to be fair, these aren't our starters.
But it's still pathetic.

Lol Texas Tech level defense here.

Anybody else recall the days when teams like U Laf could do this stuff to our first team, and games where absolute nail biters?

only thing worse than the D is the kicker

Multiple coaches with varying reputations

Our 2s on defense got some work to do.

Jayden has regressed. When he first got here people were really high on him

Not really. We beat bad Sun Belt teams like this 38-10 or 42-14 when Shula was here.

There are just not many players who look even capable of being a starter. I mean maybe there is hope McKinney looked horrible in backup action last year.

But there are 70 D1 programs with kickers who are very good within 30 yards.
And somehow we aren't one of them. I just don't get it. Nobody expects a Groza winner, I just expect to have a Jeremy Shelley.

I'd like to punch Marty Smith in the nose

I would like to observe you do it and then when asked about it later pretend I know nothing about the altercation.

I feel like Tosh may have been trying to do too much right there. Our guys were late getting lineup up for most of the drive.
