We might have the toughest conference schedule in history, no joke or exaggeration.
Road series at current #5, #6, #8, #9 and #18. Home against #1, #13, #14, #19, and #22.
We miss the 3 worst teams in the league (aside from ourselves) in the schedule this year.

I'm looking forward to the tough schedule. Lets see how far we've come in the last two years. 15-2 it reason to feel optimistic about the future and I know we're not there yet but I'd be happy just taking a series or two from top 15 caliber opponents.

Yea - the good news is if we can steal a series or two and avoid more than 1 sweep, 12-18 or 13-17 with that schedule and our OOC record will probably be good enough to get us to the NCAAT.

My preseason hopes were to win most of our OOC games, avoid any sweeps in conference play and steal 1-2 series, and win almost all of our mid-week games. So far we have exceeded expectations with OOC play. Conference play will be the real barometer though. If we do any better than 10-12 wins it'll be a great sign for the future.

Middle Tennessee not as solid as I thought they would be. 5-10 so far. Swept at Kentucky this past weekend.

They hitting Ras hard though. Thank god they changed pitchers cause we weren’t touching the starter. Threw 3/4. Hard to pick up
