That was a few years ago. Not sure if they have mended things or not since then. It's just hard to believe Saban would go down that road again. Ya never know

Wasn’t Thompson the coach that almost came to blows with Kirby during practice for one of the NC games?

That was Kevin Steele so said Boz....and they did come to blows based on what The Boz posted

Of the list of candidates the 2 names that stick out to me are Partridge and Travis Jones. I prefer Partridge because he seems like a lifetime college guy and has produced good dlines at every stop, and it a top notch recruiter.

I'm hearing there's a good chance Craig Kuligowski who is leaving #Miami will end up as #Alabama's new DL coach for Nick Saban. -Bruce Feldman

Jacob Hester has a show on here in BR. They reported that he was leaving Miami and then said "oh wait I see great he's going to Alabama. Of course he is that's great. " y'all don't live here I get it but the Alabama hatred for LSU has to rival anything Auburn has for alabama.

We only need the d line coach for one year right? That's enough time for Bo or am I wrong?

Could Alabama's search for a defensive line coach be finally coming to an end?
According to report from Sports Illustrated's Bruce Feldman, "there's a good chance" Miami defensive line coach Craig Kuligowski ends up at Alabama, shortly after it was announced Monday he was leaving the Hurricanes program after two seasons.

The school released the following statement on Kuligowski, according to Inside the U:
"The University of Miami announced Monday that assistant head coach/defensive line coach Craig Kuligowski is leaving the program to pursue other opportunities. Kuligowski coached two seasons in Coral Gables after spending the previous 15 years as the defensive line coach at the University of Missouri."
Prior to his previous two stints at Miami and Missouri, Kuligowski was an assistant coach at Toledo, serving as both the defensive line and tight ends coach from 1993-2000. He was also the Rockets' recruiting coordinator during the 1992-1993 season.
His ties to the Crimson Tide are directly connected to head coach Nick Saban, as Kuligowski played under Saban at Toledo as a senior in 1990.
Alabama is in need of a defensive line coach after Karl Dunbar left for the Pittsburgh Steelers' D-line coaching opening back on Feb 8.

I have to think we'll be looking for that sweet spot of limited but solid experience and dynamic recruiter. He's done pretty well with that so far in this new crop of coaches.
One name that would be interesting is Craig Kuligowski at Miami, formerly at Missouri and was a lifelong Pinkel guy before he retired.
