You're probably right, but it doesn't matter much either way. That clause in his Arkansas contract expires 02/15/18.

More in the the vein of former players, but MK Taylor was added to Okie State's staff as a Special Teams Analyst after serving as ST Coordinator at Jax State this past season.
If you have no idea this is, its ok. He was the backup longsnapper a few years back. Only reason I remember is because he's from my hometown.

That's a really good staff full of great young recruiters who are also good coaches, plus some established guys like Dunbar and key who are great teachers in the lines. Assuming neither of those two guys jump to the nfl

I’m really excited to see what they can do on the recruiting trail this year. Some exceptional recruiters. But balanced with good teachers at key positions.

Well it took a Class of 2020 LB to finally confirm what position Pete Golding holds on the staff:
2020 Alabama linebacker Jackson Bratton already a name to know

2020 Alabama linebacker Jackson Bratton already a name to know

A glance at the Alabama Sports Writers Association All-State team revealed several underclassmen stars in the making, including Jackson Bratton.
The Muscle Shoals (Ala.) linebacker was a second-team selection as the tone setter of a defense that held three opponents in single digits in 2017. The sophomore is beginning to hear from college football's elite within state lines.
"I went on a visit to Alabama this month," he said. "I was the only person there that wasn’t committed to 'Bama yet, but them and Auburn are the main ones recruiting me right now.
"The visit was great, I sat down and ate lunch with the new inside linebacker coach, which is coach (Pete) Golding, and he stayed with me pretty much the whole afternoon. I sat with him in the parade also. I love the attention they give to me, it’s pretty awesome."
The Crimson Tide coaches had ample time to detail why the 6-foot-3, 215-pound linebacker is on radar.
"They said they liked how I run sideline to sideline and make tackles," Bratton said. "They said I get off of blocks really well and that they liked how I was aggressive and go full speed.
"And they also said they like my patience staying in the box. I went to their camp and we mainly did 7-on-7 stuff and I ran a really good 40 time. They liked how I was physical with the backs in 1-on-1s."
The impressive class of 2020 prospect will be back in Tuscaloosa in February as he begins hearing from programs outside the state like Memphis, Southern Miss and others. His lifelong fandom to the Crimson Tide may one day transition to a scholarship offer from Nick Saban and company.
"I’ve always been a 'Bama fan but now that I’m get recruited, I’m really just open to everyone," Bratton said. "Alabama keeps telling me that I’m gonna get the chance to play there if I keep doing what I’m doing but they haven’t thrown the offer out there yet. But Alabama acts like they are the most interested.
"I’ll be going to 'Bama on February 24 for sure."
The only other visit on radar is to the program's Iron Bowl rival.
"I just talked to coach (Kevin) Steele and I’ve got a visit lined up for March 3rd at Auburn," he said.

Austin Thomas must be an a-hole to administrations.
Flirted with leaving LSU last year, decided to stay.
Left to join Pruitt at Tennesee, deal falls through.
LSU, tired of his foot out the door mentality, doesn't want him back.
Talks with Bama and Ole Miss, the latter offers him a position.
Now, something happens during negotiations and Ole Miss pulls their offer.
He is now talking with A&M about job...

Isn’t this guy some some off field assistant? What special skill besides being an a-hole does he bring to the table?

Player personnel type position that got a waiver to recruit while at LSU. Seems to have inflated his ego.

Four-star defensive end Ani Izuchukwu, a 2019 prospect, returned to Tuscaloosa on Saturday for an unofficial visit... “Coach Lupoi, he used to be outside linebackers coach but now he’s defensive coordinator,” Izuchukwu said.

Alabama staffer joining Brian Daboll in Buffalo

One of Alabama's analysts is set to reunite with Brian Daboll.
The Buffalo Bills have hired William Vlachos as an offensive assistant, a source confirmed.
Vlachos was a three-year starter at center for the Crimson Tide and was a Rimington Trophy finalist as a senior in 2011.
He first joined Alabama's staff as a graduate assistant in 2013.
ESPN was first to report about the Bills hiring Vlachos.

I always wanted to know if Vlachos was hiding a beach ball under his jersey.
Glad to see these branches continuously grow...

Looks like Michigan may have hired Jim McElwain to replace Dan Enos.

Nick Saban opted to promote from within in filling Alabama's offensive coordinator opening and is expected to do the same at defensive coordinator.
Co-defensive coordinator and outside linebackers coach Tosh Lupoi is expected to be promoted to defensive coordinator and play-caller, according to sources.
Lupoi replaces Jeremy Pruitt, who left the Crimson Tide to become Tennessee's head coach. Lupoi has already told some of Alabama's recruiting targets that he'll be the defensive coordinator and play-caller.
Lupoi, who arrived in Tuscaloosa as a defensive analyst in 2014, has been the team's outside linebackers coach since 2015. The 36-year old California native had also been the Tide's co-defensive coordinator under Pruitt since 2016.
In addition, the expectation remains that Pete Golding will be co-defensive coordinator and inside linebackers coach, per sources.
ADVERTISING
Golding is one of two new Bama defensive coaches with defensive coordinator experience, along with new defensive backs coach Karl Scott. It seems like part of the reason for Saban hiring Scott is that he liked the idea of adding another coach with defensive coordinator experience to help Lupoi.
Though Lupoi is respected as an outside linebackers coach and is widely regarded as one of the top recruiters in the nation, this will be his first opportunity to be a defensive play-caller.
Prior to Alabama, Lupoi was the defensive line coach and defensive run game coordinator at Washington (2012-13) after four seasons as the defensive line coach at his alma mater, California.
