Hopefully, AA makes a couple more moves to strengthen the bullpen.

Deadline was 10 minutes ago. The only moves that will be made now are on the waiver wire, which means guys who got cut for playing like shite.

The division is still within reach. Just need to go on like a 5-6 game win streak. If we get some people back it might be possible. I feel like the team is right there if we can get the bottom of the lineup hitting just a little better.

Looks like we got Richard Rodriguez. That deal must have gone through at like 3:58. That's something at least.

Damn! Dansby cut loose tonight fellas.
2 bombs
7 RBI's
Of course Mets win, still only 4 out.
Alternating wins/losses for a while now.
Haven't won 2 in row lately so tomorrow's a certain challenge.

If we lose today it'll be an MLB record for longest streak of alternating wins and losses.

Hope your right Pow!
Only 2.5 games through this mediocrity win/lose stretch.

Joc Pederson/Jorge Soler have been major outfield upgrades since joining the Braves.

If script holds, lose tonight, win tomorrow, win a series in SL, which any ML team will take.

Pressure builds this weekend facing a team whose thrown in the towel.

Yep! Gotta winning streak going.
Only 1.5 games out.
Duvall, Joc, Soler have brought some much needed pop.
Batting order looking good 1-7.

I'm all in as well.
With all the adversity, losing quiet a few key guys, proud of the team for not giving up.
Trade deadline additions have been golden thus far.
Possibility of winning the division for a 4th straight season would be a helleva accomplishment.

12 of our next 15 games are against some of the worst teams in MLB. It's now or never. I think once Travis gets back and we never again have to see a Kevan Smith AB, we will at least be able to field a lineup that is competitive 1-8. The offense was consistently there the past few games, which is a welcome change. And even Touki managed to power through and give us a decent outing despite not having anything working last night, which is a huge departure from what he's done in the past.

When Travis returns, even if it's a .240/.300/.700 version......it's a pretty good and deep lineup.

Get Ian back, it's a pretty good rotation.

Matzek and Smith keep throwing well and Chavez basically exists as a "better" version of Tomlin plus the addition of Rodriguez.......it's an average bullpen.

And finally, you get Ynoa in there in a swiss army knife role.

And on top of all that we no longer have a big hill to climb in the division since it's already down 1.5.

I don't trust them yet, but it's very reasonable to look at this team and think they can win 30 of their last 53 or so. And 85-77 certainly looks like it could win the division.

They need to DFA one of Tomlin and Greene and go back to a full bench at this point.

A lot of moves with the rotation and pen are about to happen. Anderson and Ynoa should be back in another week or two, but Muller has been fantastic. I think Touki is a fairly easy decision to send back to Gwinnett because even though I personally see him as a reliever long term, the organization clearly does not. Fried, Morton, and Smyly aren't going to the pen or Gwinnett, and Anderson is obviously going to go back into the rotation, so of Muller and Ynoa who gets the 5th spot and who moves to the pen/Gwinnett? I'd guess Ynoa with Muller going back to Gwinnett, but I'd hate that for Muller considering he has done nothing to warrant it.
