Oh I totally agree on Jackson. This is purely in the context of KeVAN vs Jackson for 3 more weeks until Travis comes back.
Jackson looks like a guy who will hit .190, have a 40% K rate and run into a HR every 20th AB.

If we just would have won just half of the games our bullpen has blown this season we would easily be in 1st place.
I’m all for buying if we can get guys with multiple years left. Don’t want a rental because we ain’t going anywhere this year even if we do make the playoffs

I mean AA has to make a move for at least one late inning reliever. And they have to send Minter down. This shite is just unacceptable. Luke I will give a pass to despite today because he has been overall pretty effective this season, but Minter absolutely has to go. I knew he had been bad this year, but the stats Bowman and McAlpin tweeted out for his recent run of suck are fricking horrendous.

Snit has been bad and continuing to insert Minter into the 7th after the last 30 days is a disaster......and burning Matzek last night was a joke.
However.........look at the other options.
- Luke Jackson is nothing more than his old self now that he can't use tack.
- Greene is a bigger disaster than Minter
- Matzek is a better version of Minter, but his last important outing he threw like 17 balls in 22 pitches and walked in the winning run. He's a run of the mill electric stuff lefty who is dynamite one night and a disaster the next two.
- Chris Martin is all of a sudden an incapable major league reliever
- Josh Tomlin is a BP pitcher
His current best options are Edgar Santana (yea I dunno), Will Smith (I mean, it's true) and Jesse Chavez. At this point the situation on AA. Snit ain't helpin, but there's no way to make this into anything other than a bad bullpen with the current ingredients.

Someone posted on twitter the Bullpen has now lost 23 games in which they were handed a lead.
If they are just bad and go 5-18 in those 23 we are in 1st place.

If they don't fire Kranitz's old arse and hire Mike Maroth from Gwinnett soon I'm gonna lose my mind. People connected with the Braves rave about him and the work he's done with these guys the last 18 months is incredible.
