Agreed. I think next year will be either Jones or Young as the starter.

I wouldn't be shocked. But I also wouldn't be shocked if he took over.

Did you even watch the game last night? The defense was absolutely soft and out of position all night. We let one of the shittiest QB/offenses in the sec run through us all last night. ZERO sacks and gave up basically every third and long we faced. I especially loved the safety blitzes that were obviously not working, but kept being called. Go watch any of our defenses the past 10 years and then tell me that last nights defense played "well enough".

Ok and if Mac Jones doesn't throw 2 pick sixes, they would have played well enough to win. Which is why is said that it was a TEAM LOSS. it's not that hard to understand.

Receivers: Waddle, Metchie, Bolden, Shavers, and if we get lucky maybe Smith or Ruggs comes back. I doubt we ever see a WR Corp as good as this years, but the 2020 version looks to be pretty damn good as well.

Thaiu Jones-Bell will play a ton next season. Elite talent

Totally agree - sorry, wasn't replying to you Funky (though I now see the post I was responding to was a response to you ).

Metchie & Townsend looked good in the spring game. I think they will surprise a lot of people next year.

Were you one of the idiots who said Najee was over-rated for the past 2 years and called people sunshine pumpers if they disagreed?

This will be the deepest QB room we've had in the modern era. That isn't really debatable.

Tua, Jalen, and Mac trump Mac, Taulia, and Young (hoping he signs as committed)

Not to mention some of those conversions were really low % plays.

Like the one where it looked like he was trying to throw it out of bounds and the guy catches it right on the sideline.

shite happens is the way I see it.

That's possible - good point. But at the time Jalen was worse than he is now (much worse), Tua was a true freshman and Mac was nowhere near close to being able to play in a real game.

Next year Mac, Taulia and Young will, you'd think, be guys that could trot on the field and you'd feel like you could still compete.

Either way, there are some good options there I think. We'll see.

Hell no. Last year I screamed that JJ should have been getting way more carries than Damien, but I've never said anything bad about Najee or how he's overrated.

We better hope Bryce still comes after Meyer is hired at USC West.

Helton isn't getting fired in all likelihood. That report today was pretty quickly reported to be #fakenews.

I liked our offense yesterday. Wish we had ran it a tiny bit more in the 2nd half, and especially more in the red zone, but Mac did a great job overall.

I did too. Really liked the balance and inside/outside running variations plus the passing calls once Mac got comfortable.

Sark did a really good job and the guys played well.
