This is the "logo" iest of the Championship marks,
The previous titles were mostly in crest form, with shield style shapes and resembling more like regal European soccer badges, than say a simple logo.
The sharp modern edges do make it stand out a big poorly compared to the more traditional logos.
Meh, of all the things that bother me, this is pretty low on the totem pole, but I do see you're point.

Not a fan. It is a privilege to even have the opportunity to bitch about it but this one sucks. 2015 was great.

This one is my least favorite by far. I’d rank my favorites in chronological order with 2009 and 2011 being basically a tie for first.

The problem is that the logo is not symmetric. I don't know how they could have incorporated the old Georgia Dome into the logo, though. With some puffy looking clouds I guess.
So, this isn't all that bad. Don't know what else there really is to do with a logo.

I agree. Claiming 17 NC's just invites ridicule. The legit ones are good enough to humble everyone else in college FB.

It's not as ridiculous as it sounds. The issue is the 1941 claim which is completely retarded. The rest are all legit.
