What history does Simpson have? Take out that one pass play and it's basically nothing. Roydell moved the chains, not Simpson..

Ok, he only put up 24 on Texas with the same O line so I guess you’re right. 17 points against USF is better than 24 against Texas I guess. Everything else is backwards in the world these days, so I’ll just agree with idiots.

We’re not winning the SEC with Milroe so we might as well let the young guys have it. Simpson and Lonergan should be the guys from here on.

17 is better when you aren't giving 14 to the other team.

When does Dylan Lonergan, or Eli Holstein get a shot? It wouldn’t hurt would it.

Forgive me for not being impressed by the guy who was 5/9 for 73 yards and took 5 sacks in one half of football against a defense that gave up 336 passing yards to Western Kentucky and 374 passing yards to Florida A&M.

But he handed if off real good...

What intermediate throws did Simpson hit?

You’ve been doing a good job of that, so far. Rock on, bro.

Yeah, they did so well against that elite USF secondary. I mean to not throw a pick against a bottom tier defense is really impressive.

We could have scored 17 on USF if Milroe never threw a pass and just did wildcat QB power/counter/sweep every play.

Agreed. Just goes to show you Rees sucks at building an offense around what he has to work with. He’s no Kiffin, Sark, or even McElwain. Hell, he couldn’t even put points on the board with his boy in there.

You think Texas or Texas A&M have great secondaries? Have you seen what Wyoming just did to them?

Nobody is the guy. We have one of the worst sets of QBs in D1 football.

Awesome. then when you play a real defense it's Jaylen Hurts all over again. Bottom line is that Simpson is a better game manager.

Better than USF I’d say considering Bryce Young couldn’t put up more than Milroe on the same defense a year ago. I also remember Young throwing a pick or two in that game as well, but I could be wrong.

Milroe had 80 yards besides two throws. He couldn't pass 200 yards passing against MTSU

Both QBs out there today passed for 107 combined against South Florida so…

Milroe had TD passes of 49 yards and 39 yards v. Texas. That's 88 yards of 255 from the two TD passes.

Ty Simpson literally didn't throw a pass on our last TD drive today. He was 5/9 for 73 yards and 45 of those came on one deep play.

He hit zero intermediate passes.

In five drives we punted 3 times and had 2 TD drives, the last one of which he didn't even attempt a pass. What are you guys smoking? Seriously.

We played USF today. SOUTH... FLORIDA...

No, he did not throw any picks against Texas last year. Was only sacked twice, not 5 times. And certainly did not stare down receivers and throw ugly interceptions. Milroe is NOT a quarterback! He is an athlete who can throw a deep ball and connect sometimes. That is not a quarterback.

Saban knows that and that is why he got yanked and wasn't even the 2nd string today.

I will gladly take a game manager who does not throw a pass and we run the ball down the other team's throat and score.

That was the best thing I have seen in three weeks.

You don't know he'd give up 3. That just being dramatic

But he’d definitely score points? Saying he’d put up points when immediately pressured is equally bullshite.
