So how many PPG yall think ? Was listening to a podcast with Drew DeArmond, and he said it wouldn't shock him if Bama averaged 50 PPG. Dude was dead serious.

QB - Tua

RB1's Damien, Najee Harris
RB2's Jacobs, Robinson

OL- LT, Leather | LG, RossP | C, Jonah | RG, Womack-Cotton-D.Brown-Lash | RT, Wills

WR's - Ruggs, Smith, Jeudy, Shavers

TE's - I. Smith etc.

So what are we talking here,... GOAT ?

A shite load. Basically depends on how conservative we are. Backups with lots of playing time. Again.

Mix Hurts in as an h back, and they'll be extra tough to stop

A bunch. I think it’ll be among the most efficient as well if Tua limits turnovers

I think it all depends on how hard CNS tries to sabotage Tua and Najees run at a Heisman. No way he is going to make that easy.

39. Unless the second team gets the go ahead to score late in games Saban won’t let us consistently put 50 and 60 on people to bring our average over 40. We could have the most potent offense in the country, but some Big 12 teams will have better stats.

Numbers don’t go high enough to quantify how many points per game we gonna score yo.

For any math nerds out there it is prolly a similar proof to this one.

Prove that the set of Real Numbers is uncountable.

We will use proof by contradiction. Let the set of Real Numbers be countable. (Let the amount of points we score next year be countable). And so on and so forth.

Nope. About 37.

Jalen will continue to struggle against good defenses and we will average about 14 points in big games.

QB - Tua

45 PPG if Saban makes the right move and starts Tua.

If he starts Jalen Hurts, about 27 PPG and we’ll struggle vs above-average defenses.

RB1's Damien, Najee Harris
RB2's Jacobs, Robinson

^ Look for Damien/Najee to be our best 1-2 punch ever. Najee is the truth. We’ll see a lot of Jacobs/Robinson too, who are excellent. Could be deepest RB core we’ve had.

quote:

WR's - Ruggs, Smith, Jeudy, Shavers

^ Dear F*ck*ng God! The first 3 mentioned are all 5-Stars, and could all be worthy #1 options. If Saban plays Jalen, this group going to waste would be the most heart-breaking thing to me. Please play Tua & let these 3 Amari Cooper clones have a field day!

Recruiting skill position offensive players this year has suffered too, and I attribute it at least in part to the shitty offense.

edit: But it didn't look so shitty 2nd half vs UGA.

Hurts can’t throw a football. No way on Gods green Earth Saban trots out Hurts next season. Right? Please God tell me I am right

It would be crazy as all hell, and I certainly hope not, and don't think it will happen, but honestly, Saban is so damn conservative about offense, and seems so infatuated (another poster's word for it) with Hurts, I won't feel totally great about it till Tua ends spring practice as the clear #1 qb.

edit: I think it'll work out though. Judging by the response of the team when Tua comes in, not only in the UGA game, but earlier games, I think the majority of the team is in his corner. I think there is a real danger of a divided team if Hurts starts. I don't think it'll happen like that.

After the Natty, when asked about Jalen, Saban said something along the lines of “we didn’t think we could run the ball well enough to win” or something like that.

That tells me everything I need to know right there. Nick had no confidence in Hurts throwing.

It will depend on how well the defense does.

If the defense gives up 24 points per game, I expect the offense will score in the 40s on avg.

If the defense gives up 14 points per game, I expect the O will average in the 30s.

I doubt anymore then we did this year. Saban bread and butter is run first. Tua opens the game up to prevent teams from stacking the box. Our RBs are going to feast next season and probably why D Harris came back. Sbana knows we can not put up OU numbers or we will give up 40+ like them on D against good teams. We put up a lot of points we do not control the clock and our D stays on the field like we did against CU in 2016 NC game which doe snot bode well for our D at all.
