I think most of us can agree that that was an ugly win yesterday. My reasons:

1. I think a lot of those guys had heard how "amazing" they were vs A&M, how Bama was back in the hunt for a NC, blah, blah, blah and it all went to their heads. Complacency set in and some guys thought they didn't have to try very hard.

2. Coming off an emotional, very physical game vs A&M, I think there was a bit of a letdown. To a certain degree, I get it. It's hard to stay mentally/emotionally intense week in and week out.

3. Got caught looking ahead to Tennessee. They saw Arkansas's record and just ASSUMED it would be an easy game, that they wouldn't have to try very hard. Gotta give Sam Pittman credit, he had the Hogs ready to play and they almost pulled it off.

I'm hoping CNS is chewing some a** this week. Apparently, some of these guys need it.

They had this game going their way until the stupid facemask penalty swung the momentum. Arkansas was dead until that .

It was an infuriating call considering their helmets were briefly stuck together. But you have to be able to overcome a call like that. Especially when you’re up 24-6 and the other team is on the verge of quitting.

I was paddle boarding yesterday during the game, but had the game on on my phone. Wasn't paying close attention to the plays. What was the deal in the second half besides the oline sucking? I know there were some bad dropped balls, missed passes.

I think they thought they had the game won and took their foot off the pedal. After a couple quick tds by Arkansas they tried but couldn't get their foot back on the pedal.

This is it. I’ll bet it doesn’t happen again.

Not sure where they heard this because most in the national media were not impressed with the win over an unranked opponent. Even Barrett Sallee picked Bama to win that game.
Unless you mean the most ardent Kook-Aid drinkers on this forum.

There was a lot of good and a lot of bad. What kind of team will they be the rest of the way? Cannot win out the reg season if the sacks continue. The penalties. The mental errors.

We were another TD away from blowing that thing open in the 3rd Quarter. If we go up 28-6, it probably gets a little uglier. Ark was ready to quit. The problem is we aren’t good enough to just coast on autopilot.

Ill also add that all of Arkansas's losses except for one have been by one possession. The only one that wasn't a one possession loss was the team that we just beat last weekend. They are a very hungry team, and they aren't a bad team at all. Doesn't excuse all of the penalties, and lack of execution, but I am happy that we got that W.

A) Arkansas has some talent on offense, which you could see in their game with LSU.

B) Milroe’s limitations on presnap reads, the speed he processes the field, and inaccuracy on short/intermediate throws are going to gum up the offense enough we are never going to pull away from anyone even when we outclass them. We will be favored to sweep UT, LSU, and Auburn but could plausibly lose all 3 games

I’m not putting AT UK in the win column yet either. This season seems completely up in the air from game to game.
