On the offensive side, we badly miss our running back who is out for the season. We need a quick hitter like him and the kid that transferred to Texas.

We have Trey Sanders, who might be the best back on the whole team - certainly the most explosive, but Saban has him at 4th string

Another *curious* decision

Based on what? Are you at practices, a coach, or have some kind of secret inside info you would like to share with us other than your opinion that so far has no validity to it.

You continue to post your opinion with certainty as if it the gospel but yet nothing to substantiate it with actual facts.

I do think Sanders is a good RB but one of the requirements to play RB under Saban is the ability to block. What I have seen of Sanders this season so far he has not been asked to block yet. When he does come in we know it will be a run play. Maybe, and this is a guess, that maybe he still needs to work on that part of his game to become more of a feature back.

Hey Jumpin Jack, Please post up your credentials. I'd like to see how many NCs rings you have. How many players have you sent to the NFL?

Sanders has had two massive injuries and is just now getting his feet under him. He basically had to restart his learning curve and Robinson has been really good for us so far.

Saban has alluded to why Hall isn't playing right now multiple times and it isn't because Saban doesn't see the talent. Hall isn't meeting the minimum standards required of everybody on the team.

I'm a little baffled by the lack of respect being given to Brian Robinson and Roydell Williams by some folks.

Robinson has been better than expected this season. I think most folks assumed he'd be "serviceable," but he's been a lot more than that.

I was excited to see Jase McClellan more this year, and I hate the injury happened ... but Roydell Williams has been a pleasant surprise. He's very good.

I hope Trey Sanders can recover his form, but I'm not sure what people are seeing with him that makes him "the best back on the team." He's very good at bouncing outside, but that's all I've seen at this point that might make him a better back than the others.

it’s the worst team Saban has fielded since 2007. There isn’t a plethora of elite talent at our skill positions, frankly, I’m not sure if any TE/RB/WR would go in the top 3 rounds of the draft.

We don't know that, particularly at the wide receiver position. At this time in 2017 that super group of receivers were freshmen (Waddle in 2018), and hadn't had a chance to prove they were as good as they turned out.

I also think that Young is better or is at least on a track to be better than any of the qbs in that span except Tua, Mac in his last year, and maybe McCarron.

Honestly, we don't really know about Sanders either. Maybe he's still hampaired by the injuries sustained in the auto accident, but he hasn't had a chance to prove himself. Then, Wheaton may be as good as advertised, but nobody can yet know that.

edit to note I only read the first post in this thread before responding. I agree with those who say Robinson may not be getting his just due but there have been some not merely good but great rbs in that span

BRob has been a shining light in the running game and the leadership department. I don’t think we could ask for much more other than alittle more top end speed.

Here’s what I do know. He goes to class, doesn’t miss anything team related, and works his arse off.
