My personal take on this squad + changes I’d love to see.

We are a Top 10 team, but it’s the worst team Saban has fielded since 2007. There isn’t a plethora of elite talent at our skill positions, frankly, I’m not sure if any TE/RB/WR would go in the top 3 rounds of the draft. Typically, we have 6-7 skill guys who would.

We are good enough to be a top 10 team, borderline playoffs, then lose to someone good at the end. I’d rather not do that. This team as currently constructed can NOT beat Georgia. We aren’t explosive enough. Maybe some of the freshmen are a little wet behind the ears, but if they are talented you have to get them reps now in hopes they can help vs Georgia.

Here’s the changes I’d make now to infuse some elite talent into the line up….

- Bench Dalcourt, move Chris Owens to C, insert JC Latham at RT.

- Bench Slade, bench Holden, insert Agiye Hall & Ja’Corey Brooks.

Slade/Dalcourt/Holden are good enough to win 10 games with, but not a title. The horses need experience, and we need the horses to be elite. It’s time to turn them loose

Alabama can't play with Georgia on either side of the LOS. #31 may be the only guy who'd start for Georgia.

Nope, not with his attitude/public airing of the in-house team decisions.

We've beaten the shite out of the last two teams we've played. What more do you want?

We are absolutely good enough to beat Georgia.

So many cowering chicken littles in our fanbase. Disgusting.

We are going to play UGA and that will tell the tale for us. It will be the hardest game we’ve played. How will we play.

Boz, there's NO way we can run between tackles, and they run to the corners like bats out of hell!
Our Oline will be mauled, and the QB's gonna be on the move after 3 seconds at the most.
PLEASE!..somebody explain to me how this thing's gonna keep from getting ugly in the second half...I'm listening (please no pie-in-the-sky BS though).

True. The Bama Sunshine Club will disagree.

As of today this Bama team is just good but not close to elite.

It's the Jimmy and Joe's. We're more like 2010 without the talent but a better QB.

The fear of Georgia is strong. I remember a few weeks ago when the fear of Ole Miss was strong too.

There was no way Bama could stop the Ole Miss offense, Bama will have to score 50 plus to win, etc. What happened in that game?

This Bama team can beat any team in the country this year. They lack motivation most of the time. They seem to get that motivation when people don't think they can do something, kinda like shutting down the Ole Miss offense. Bama will be plenty motivated come the Georgia game.

UGA should be the last thing on the mind of this Bama team. This bunch is a work in progress and each week is a season in itself. Get better this week and next and then go challenge LSU.

Repeat the next week. Hope that Bryce has injury luck going forward.

I believe this but I also believe we can be beat by a lot of people if we don't get the turnovers and secondary issues fixed.

This team needs an alpha. A true vocal leader. Someone to hold the other guys accountable. I’m talking step up on the field and sideline to talk to each other.

31 is the man to do it on defense. Waiting on BY, Neal or Williams to take it for the offense.

On our best day we would beat Georgia by 20.

Hell, we played like shite against them last year and won by 17.

Is this team perfect? Hell no.

But they would buttfrick every team in the country when firing on all cylinders.

My no BS take on beating UGA comes down to a few things:

1. Knowing how good their defense is, will we scheme around that? E.g. give Bryce plays where he can move and throw on the move. Get away from pressure. Their secondary isn’t the best part of their defense.

2. UGA offense isn’t elite, good but not great. Stop their run, bend don’t break. If they run it down our throats then we already know that outcome as TOP and our defensive posture will be shot to hell.

3. Turnovers. We have been slightly turnover prone lately. Not awful but it cost us the AM game for sure.

4. Dropped passes have to stop. If it hits your hands, you have to catch it.

We just have some fine tuning to do. Limit mistakes and we'll be ok.
