Ole Myth went all in on the portal. Still crapped the bed thanks to Kiffin.

He's a captain and supposed heart of this team. You just saw what he, and this team (coaches included), are made of. Soft, weak, p%ssy..
And that is a summary of our season in a nutshell. It’s why we nearly blew a colossal lead against UGa, why we lost to Vanderbilt and Oklahoma and Tennessee, and had close calls against USF and USC. This team has no leaders, no heart, no balls. They are me first, screw the team, and it shows almost every game. It wouldn’t bother me if we pulled a dozen or so scholarships from some of these prima donnas and held open the portal door for them.

Makes me think somebody paid him to lose this game.

"Who cares? Jeez. Not defending Milroe for the pass, but this is not the reason to be upset with him. QBs don’t practice tackling."
I'm a 53 year old woman. My only experience consists of playing flag football as a college freshman & raising a football-playing son, but I would have done a better job at trying to tackle that guy.

That's a little much. His goal is to get drafted. He ain't playing like shite on purpose. He just sucks.

Disagree.
Venables is just a very smart coach and was able to see the glaring deficiencies in his game and forced him to do things he wasn’t able or willing to do.
No conspiracy needed there IMO.

That was a masterful game plan by Venables. I mentioned last night, a friend of mine who used to coach told me while the game was going on that it was Vandy on offense and Tennessee on defense.

I assume he is being paid decent salary to stick
Simpson is making less than Thorne ($500k) at Auburn, but it is a good amount for a backup QB. Not sure what Freeze was offering for Ty though. They dropped a significant bag in the Cam Ward sweepstakes and were outbid.

He is an elite DC who got thrown under the bus by the Stoops brothers. Those Clemson defenses from 2015-2019 had some teeth, especially along the DL. I guess people forgot how he confused Tua in 2018, but it was my #1 concern that he would flat stone Milroe with two weeks to prepare.

He's not competent enough to fix a game.

You can't be fricking serious? All he had to do was push him out of bounds. He had the angle on the guy, but just gave zero effort to finish the play.

Bham4Tide is one of the local Milroe boot lickers. In their eyes, he can do no wrong. Even though he’s the worst quarterback in modern Alabama history who Forrest Gump’d his way into the starting quarterback position.

It was a business decision

Crickets from our coach. Those of you that played the game understand what your coach would do to you if you made that effort.
Agreed. I'm not panicking on DeBoer simply because they're losing, but I am ice cold on him due to his handling of this situation. Even if you're not going to bench Milroe outright, it's standard to tell even an established starting quarterback "It's not your night, we're gonna sit you." That recently happened to Quinn Ewers, who has been way more consistent than Milroe. So it not happening in this situation shows a player run program.

LMAO. I’m so ready for this crew to move on. Imagine what the film session was like.

Not really. It was a very simple plan. Treat every play like it was 4th and inches on defense and run the QB on offense. Nothing fancy, nothing difficult to implement. It was a basic plan that worked because Alabama never tried anything else.
Auburn will do the same thing. They will run it 45-50 times and put people on the line of scrimmage on defense and see if Bama will still try QB runs into stacked boxes.

Sounds like that's what someone told him to say.

What film session? Sounds like they aren't shown things that could question someone's effort. Luckily, they stay off social media so they probably haven't seen the play in question.

I’m sick of players doing their stupid podcasts. They care more about this stuff than winning games. Sickening.
