Im thinking more and more he's coming back, or at least the players think so.

Absolutely no indication that's the case.

He himself said he hadnt decided. He had a shite year. He can make plenty of money in college. Our entire WR room transferred, when things should improve for them in the QB spot.

I question that "he can make money at Alabama" going forward.

Surely that’s drying up at UA.

I would cry. Levis is bad enough already.
Richardson, Levis and Milroe all failed the Vandy litmus test. Bout all you need to know…

Which is a blessing because those guys SUCKED.
We kept the two best ones and the others bounced.

Some of yall are as dramatic as a teenage girl. Milroe was terrible some games, but he was really good some games too. That being said, I do hope he moves on. This offense could’ve been really good with a great pocket passer and I think it’s going to be really good next season with Austin Mack slinging it around

I like Law because of his blocking ability, but he’s not a great receiver. We also return Cole Adams and Jalen Hale. I’m really excited about the kid from New Jersey too. Looks like a young Steve Smith

Being the best athlete on the field is usually a good quality.

Agrees 100%. Who is really sad Prentice and K.Law and Henderson are transferring? Reveiver is a position that are a dime a dozen. BAMA's best receiver in 2008 was a true freshman. He set the freshman receiving record for yards in a season at BAMA until that was broken by another freshman who was the best receiver on the team. He caught the go ahead TD in the SECCG as a freshman in 2012. His record in receiving yards as a freshman stood until 2015 when another freshman led the SEC in receptions for BAMA & had a 1000 yard season. A freshman caught the walk-off TD pass in the national championship game in 2017 season. He didn't have a great freshman year, but he won the Heisman as a senior. Once again a freshman has led BAMA in receiving yards this season.
Julio Jones
Amari Cooper
DeVonta Smith
Ryan Williams
Think about all of the receivers that played at BAMA during this time that I didn't mention.
Now... get the receivers at BAMA a qb that can get them the ball ffs!!

If Anthony Richardson is a top 5 pick, Milroe is a first rounder
Richardson was the 11th ranked player on PFF’s big board coming into the 2023 NFL Draft while Milroe is currently the 51st ranked player on PFF’s big board. Believe it or not, picking AR at #4 wasn’t that much of a reach pick. He was highly regarded coming into that draft. Milroe is not.

Milroe has been more productive / had better games / showed potential more than AR did at UF to me …. AR was underwhelming about every game I saw him play

Depends on what other deficiencies you have.

He isn’t the best athlete. He’s the fastest player. Hes terrible at side to side movement and ball control.

Yep. And if he had to go backwards, it was a catastrophe waiting to happen

When he gets to practice his craft for 8 hours a day , every day with film study and mechanics , he will get better…. Whether that is enough will be the question

Look at the first half against Oklahoma. He was play decent he just had horrible playcalling and WRs and TE with 4 dropped balls which kill drives.

I didn't say AR was a reach in the top 5. People recognized his intangibles and ranked him accordingly.
The thing is, Milroe has extremely similar intangibles, and is actually more refined as a QB at this current stage.
Combine that with it being a horrendous QB class, and you get first round Milroe.
I do not believe he is good enough, or ever will be good enough, to warrant a 1st round selection. However, some QB coach/OC/offensive HC is going to latch on to him and believe he is coachable putty waiting to be formed into a superstar QB. "I can fix him".
Milroes RAS score will be in the top 1% for any position. He will get drafted in the first round, and 4 years from now he will either be out of the NFL or be a poor man's Taysom Hill.
FWIW, I can see where scouts believe his ceiling is. If he could ever put it together he would be incredible. He just won't.
