Just wondering if you guys thought it may be a good idea to go a little quicker on offense the first couple of drives against LSU and see what happens? With White missing the first half, I was thinking maybe we could cause some communication issues for the LSU defense. Also, I feel like the oline has improved every week, and we may see a little better rushing attack in the RPO game against this LSU front than in years past, especially if Aranda decides to play a lot of man against the offensive sets we run out there. What do you guys think?

Bama usually scores in only a few plays and you don't want your defense to get too tired because of it. Just play like normal.

Prevent them from having long drives. Honestly, the only way I see LSU being competitive or winning is if they go on long drives where they control TOS and milk the play clock. Stopping the run will be critical.

I'd like to see us jump out to an early, quick lead in BR for once. We seem to always come out tight and conservative down there for some reason. Their crowd is going to be amped, and it would go a long way to taking the wind out of their sails.

They do pretty damn fast without even trying, not sure how much faster they can go.

I'd like to see them get the ball out of Tua's hands quick. He looked a little too comfortable standing in the backfield the last 2 games. If I'm LSU, I get after Tua. Force him to scramble on that bad knee and get some hits on him. They could force him out of the game early and it doesn't have to be anything dirty to do it.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Let's do what we have done all year. Air it out with Tua.

If we get out to a lead early, it will be pretty tough for them to win. I'm sure they want to obviously keep it close and then try to milk the clock and shorten the game. Not happening if we get a lead.

The only reason to go quick is to catch them with personnel on the field they don't want and be unable to substitute. Just do it situationally like we already do on occasion.

We're 8 for 8 on opening drives. Whatever we're doing is working.

Here is the game plan.

1. Play the game
2. Win by 20+

I say be aggressive on offense and try to bury them as soon as possible. Worst case scenario, even if we have a few 3 and outs the LSU offense still doesn’t put up enough points to put us in any significant hole. Best case scenario is that Bama gets an early 2 score lead and make a guy that can’t complete more than half of his throws to beat them

I feel gross saying we should try to make a team beat us in a shootout

With that being said every snap in this game has a chance to highlight the greatest disparity from a single position between the teams. Quarterback. I need SoG to come in here and tell me how often a qb we played completed a higher % of his passes against Bama than his season average. Their O-Line gives up sacks and their runningbacks are probably the worst they’ve been in years.

Tl;dr look Joe Burrow straight in the eyes and dare him to put up more points than Tua

True. Once down three scores they have to put the game in Burrows hands and he isn't good enough to do it.

I just hope we remain aggressive on offense. I don't want to see any conservative, try not to make mistakes bs. And, I don't think Saban will be conservative, because he knows this team is different and the offense is the strength.

But, if LSU competes, it will be because we played conservative and LSU was able to sustain drives.

lsu sucks at rushing the passer with their front 7. They rely on safety and corner blitzes. That's not going to work on tua, he will see who's gonna be open before the ball is snapped
