Our 3 main targets seem to be all true Soph while another possible playmaker will be Waddle, a freshman.

If Tua is as good as the reports have been so far, and all the WRs stay healthy, could you guys see our passing attack being one of the most lethal in the country? I mean, Jeudy was getting huge praise as a freshman, and we saw what Ruggs and Smith can do as well.

What do you guys think?

Let’s not forget about Tyrell Shavers, Irv Smith and Josh Jacobs out of the backfield. This pass attack should be unreal.

I don't think that there is any doubt about it. The tools are there for us to be tops this year. Stats might not be eye popping because of how we operate, but we will be able to easily move the ball any which way IMO.

Shavers, Townsend, Marks, and Kief all got time with the 1s in the scrimmage. I'm also quite bullish on both Waddle and Xavier Williams.

In addition the the principal 3, I think the sky is the limit for any of the above players, excluding Kief and Marks (role players at best). Shavers may play a BIG role this year.

Now just think about 2019, when Alabama only loses 2 WRs after this season. You’re talking about maybe the greatest WR Corps of all time next year. Seriously.

I think it has the potential but 2 things make me wait before getting excited. One lets see how Tua does now with teams time to prepare for him and two we depth concerns on the D I doubt Saban wants to ket the O go 3 and score on every possession forcing the D to play more then needed.

We also have one of the top backfields to pound the ball as well.

Best corps in the nation by season's end. Next question.

Seriously, we have 4 5* guys, Shavers and a vet in Kief. We have a dynamic QB that can get them all the ball and we have backs that will keep the d on its toes.

Will be fun to watch

You forgot to add that we should have our best Oline in a half decade.

You can't leave out Bolden!!! He made a grab Saturday and then added about 20+ more yards with a couple of spin moves and broken tackles! There is some serious WR talent on the roster!!!

Woah, I'm not saying that. I'm saying it should be the best Oline we've had in a least 3 or 4 years, and maybe going back as far as 2013. I just ball parked it at "a half decade".

We haven't had a truly dominant Oline in a few years now.

Yeah, should definitely be the best since 2012. I'd say the 2013 line was very meh though. I mean obviously it wasn't bad, but it wasn't up to the standard IMO. We've had some good lines since, but none that were as good as this year's OL should be. It'd be very difficult for this OL to top 2012, but I could see it being 2011 level maybe, which was basically 2012-lite.

It will definitely be a year where i think the Offense will have to carry the Defense for the first part of the season.

I get your point and all, but the lowest Bama has finished in Total Defense since 2008 is 12th, which happened in 2013. There's no way in hell the 2018 defense has as many weaknesses as that defense, and so the chances that we don't have a top-10 defense in all of CFB is basically 0%.

And no top-10 defense in CFB needs to be "carried".

This defense is going to be very, very good at its absolute worst. It will almost certainly be great. The question is if it will be elite.
