2nd interception in this game. What’s happened to him? Sophomore jinx maybe? I wonder if the Clemson sight is panicking

Clemson has practically give them 14 points and Syracuse just can’t score!

He looks like he's pressing.

I'm sure he'll snap out of it but he's looked rough so far.

Syracuse is garbage. They got disemboweled by a Maryland team who lost to Temple today.

He can't play a defense with Savion Smith on it every game.

Well compared to last year and the way he played in the title game last year....yes, terrible.

His arm doesn’t look as strong as people think it is.

He can be a bit slow getting it out and he does quite a bit of throwing the ball up.

He looks rough but he’s getting pressured. If we played him again he’d probably have all day and just have Ross and Higgins win 50/50 balls again

I think the main thing that annoys me about him is how many 50/50 balls he just chucks up and his amazing receivers consistently bail him out. I’m not sold on the guy and defenses are starting to hawk on his lazy passes. 5/5 TD-INT ratio so far. Could you imagine how people would be treating Tua if he started the first three games like that?

No doubt the national title game has given him so much hype that his actual play doesn’t really matter. Honestly in that game how many amazing throws did he make? Most were wide open. Ross and Higgins were making the wow plays.

So far you've been dead on. He certainly looks shaky right now.

He made 1. I went play by play on the game. Everyone called me a dumbass, I challenged them to show me the plays he was so great on and nobody ever did.

Tua made much better plays in the game, but unfortunately he also made some bad ones and that is what people focused on.

Clemsons O and D lines won that game, not Lawrence.

Their receivers beat our secondary and it made him look a lot better than he is.

He has the potential and will probably do well in the NFL. So I don't want to put him down too much, I just didn't see "Greatest QB ever" that many were trying to throw on him.

Agree 100% with all of that

He seems to be pressing. Going for the big play when it isn’t there. He has probably bought into his own hype a little. He is extremely talented but he has to reign it in a little. I definitely wouldn’t say terrible, but he can do much better.
