Kiffin to Auburn?

While Kiffin is a good offensive mind, his in-game play-calling can be schizophrenic without a HC to rein him in. Without his time at Bama and his associations to Saban, his career/reputation would be mediocre. Hot and cold. Flashes of good but never able to follow up. He has no long-term success anywhere. Really not sure why he is such a hot name. I'm not sure why he would want to go to au unless he just wants to get a nice fat contract as a retirement plan from the yellow man. I'm still not sold its a done deal, but we'll see.

Indifferent if they hire him. It's not like he's an unknown coming into the SEC. We've been playing a Lane coached team for a few seasons. He might get a little better rated recruits at auburn, but not a balance of power change hire if it happens.

If Kiffin goes to Auburn he'd kill it. It's about NIL and youngsters like Lane. Auburn would give Lane all the NIL money he wants and he'd get a big raise. Lastly, Lane is not Jimbo. Lane has been around celebrity pro athletes all his life he can handle entitled kids.

But, I don't think Lane takes the Auburn job. He can wait and be in play at Texas, A&M, or maybe even Bama in a few years.

The way Ole Miss lost to Arkansas kinda reminds me of the Iron Bowl in 2002, when Coach Fran let go of the rope… We’ll see.

What he posted in response to the reporters story doesn't sound like someone that's about to take the job that was reported on. He trolled him beautifully by claiming he was taking a job at a rival station lol. You don't do that if you're leaving lol.

If Ole Miss doesn't show up, are unprepared in a couple nights, he's probably gone.

I think he’s a good fit for them. He fits their criteria. Mediocre seasons but competing with Bama. While occasionally beating Bama.

Lane will be a problem for instate recruits against us.
