We’re getting close to this team being Nate Oats’ worst 3P shooting team of all time.

I agree. He’s also a pretty good defender and he’s 6’6.

The JD Davison team was pretty bad but at least we had Keon and Shackelford who were pretty consistent

Holloway makes bad decision on 2-1 break, misses 2 FTs, we get offensive rebound, then turn it over.

That’s the most Alabama sequence I’ve ever seen.

Oats is becoming very frustrated with Sears.

How many turnovers can be attributed to Sears this year? I would guess close to half of them.

That’s the annoying part about the Turnovers…Sears and Nelson(2 5th year guys) are the ones committing the bulk of then

Maybe Sears needs to miss a start. We can’t keep turning the ball over 12 times before the 2nd media timeout.

Mallette hits a big 3 and Nate immediately takes him out?

I just don’t get it

Nelson is a lot easier to look the other way on. Bigs who get a lot of non-paint touches just tend to turn it over a bit more and you live with it because of the other stuff a player like that can do. Sears is turning it over because he's playing a lot of selfish, foul baiting basketball and he needs to find a comfortable seat on the bench until he's ready to stop.

Holloway has been up and down on defense this season. I wonder if that is a factor with who he rotates in with?

There are some major red flashing warning signs with this team. I’m hoping it’s a bit of a lull after playing the 7 good teams in a row, but this is ugly, sloppy, low IQ basketball right now.

We better have another gear in conference play or we’re going to be settling with struggling to stay above .500.

Every time this non conference schedule im sure we are cooked due to poor play, this team rises up and proves me wrong.

Maybe it's a competition thing, but you are not wrong the red flags are very obvious.

This is an 8-2 opponent who is a fairly well regarded defensive unit on the 22nd of December.

even acknowledging that some of the turnovers come with the territory…..nelson turns the ball over at an egregious rate. he has terrible hands. he fails to catch a lot of rebounds he should get as well.

it’s a big weakness in his profile, especially since he’s not a great shooter.

ND was not. And not a single thing Kent State did had anything to do with Holloway chucking the ball twice to big men not looking when he wasn’t even being pressured.
