As long as that's for assistant to the assistant OL coach, I'm good with it.

Edit: On further review, that statement needs an additional "assistant to the."

Hes been at some good jobs. Belichick hired him.

I think its smart going to two people working with the OL. The NFL does this because it gets more one on one coaching for the players.

This. If you look at sacks allowed and rushing yard per game, he hasn't had a top-40 unit in either category in eight years. He was a good recruiter, but not much to suggest he can coach a good OL in the current era.

Belichick hired him the same era of his career when he railroaded Mac Jones by hiring a defensive coordinator to be his offensive coordinator.

I don't think you can use that as evidence of competency.
