Yeah it's a lousy attitude but a lot of our players were spiking their helmets and acting out after the loss to Michigan. Saban cited that as part of the reason why he hung it up. This is just how the players are now. They're spoiled brats making 6-7 figures

Not when you get to handpick students from all across the United States. The real problem is that winning is so important that people not only tolerate students who should not be in college to begin with but give them big money to come. And coaches are now making as much as $13,000,000 a year to lead an extracurricular activity.

And fans want no accountability in this when their demand for winning has warped the sport.

I agree and hate the celebrations. We also saw this crap the last few years under Saban and probably contributed to him retiring.

This is the same attitude that got the GOAT to hang it up. Fans saying heads need to roll and constantly questioning Saban.

Some of you need to get over yourselves

Nobody is getting fired five games into their first season.

We got dominated by Vanderbilt. We never held the lead. We never looked competent. In most businesses when there is a massive failure, people lose jobs. It’s not like we lost to Georgia or TN, we got our asses bent over by a team that has absolutely zero business on the field with us. This is ALL ON COACHING.

No one is disagreeing this is not on the staff. The issue I have is the tantrum you and some others are throwing right now wanting heads to roll and people to be fired over one game.

Losses like this bring out your true character. Many on this board have shite all over kids for jumping ship when a better opportunity comes. We lose a game we shouldn’t and you’re doing the same.

It’s not a tantrum. I’m not kicking a football. I’m not on the team. I am however saying that the defensive coordinator (if you think he can coach defense) needs to be fired. Period. That’s called making a decision. When you’re running the most successful program in the history of a certain area and you have a massive collapse, you handle the issue with exactness. Today.

In the business world when new management takes over you do not panic at the first sight of trouble. Businesses that do that cease to exist

If it would make you “feel” better. Demote him to clipboard duty behind the scenes to save face and make a move. No one cares about feelings.

I'll say this again....

We have an in-game coaching management issue. However, don't let a team with an option scheme be the measuring stick.

You seem to be the only one with hurt feelings about the outcome of a game you did not participate in.

Calling out the issues isn’t hurt feelings my guy. I think it’s unacceptable. I said in the game thread we were losing in the second quarter. We had zero response from this team. Somehow we are unable to make any adjustments at halftime two games in a row. There are major issues in our coaching staff that have zero ability to adjust. Better realize it. More losses are happening.

They’re not gonna fire him mid season.
It’s obvious Womack can’t make in game adjustments. That needs to change or he needs to go… and that’s honestly just the bottom line. Our offense scored plenty of points to win.
It’s football. If you can’t make adjustments in game then you don’t need to coach at a high level. Go coach 1A football and be a P.E coach or something.

This was a Bud Light moment. Someone better be smart enough to make a fix.
