No i’m sorry but thats wrong.
Im a business owner, and if i hire a PM who does something wrong or doesn’t do well thats my fault.
If my superintendent fails, thats my fault.
As the owner the buck stops with me. I get paid the big bucks so it is all my fault, if it goes to shite.
The same is with him. If we win, he gets extensions and 11 million a year.
If we have the worst offense in football and get beat by almost 40 in the rose bowl which is now considered the worst playoff loss ever, and the 3rd worse loss in program history,
It’s HIS fricking fault

It's not so much about the record. On paper, going 11-4 with a playoff win is a good season. Many are giving credit for reaching the SECCG, but that was determined by somewhat arbitrary tiebreakers - either Texas A&M or Ole Miss would have had a good chance at beating Bama and obviously Ole Miss was a better match for Georgia by season's end.
It's about the way the team plays. Even in wins, they never looked like a really good team this season. Often, they were physically dominated in games they won, but they managed to get by with opportunistic defense and some clutch moments in the passing game.
You're talking about DeBoer growing as a coach and hopefully making major coaching shakeups. The latter would be great, but I have my doubts with his personality. In terms of growth, what concerns me is that we're seeing problems that he had at Washington recur here. In 2022, his Huskies went 11-2, but both losses were to unranked teams. In 2023, they made a run to the championship game on the back of 9 wins decided by single digits. You can see stats from those 2023 games that should look very familiar - 13 rushing yards on 13 attempts against Arizona State, for instance. So I'm not seeing much growth at all when I look at DeBoer's past.

its like good cop/bad cop. In our family dynamic and our small business I am the bad cop, my wife is the good cop. This works great, my staff and kid say it all the time that its tough love from me. So they have respect for when my wife tells them in a sweet way to get things done correctly.
This team only has good cops, no respect, "no fear" , just rainbows and unicorns.
fricking Kane skipping in practice , high fiving everyone. Want a hug, find our HC he loves giving them out.
Where is our OC , oh , he is pumping iron for them arms so he wont look like a cuck for his lady
What about our S&C coach. Man he went on this retreat in Sedona to learn new training methods for the team. Groundbreaking shite, like hot yoga for 300lb kids. Wait til you see it on the field.

That’s not Bama and it’s fricking embarrassing. We are all the decline soon if we don’t have a head coaching change, or assistants change, or something, and I don’t care what kind of talent we have. We will lose and lose a lot
The day Nick retired we were starting the "decline". That type of dominance is impossible to keep up forever, it was bound to happen whether Nick was there or not. We "declined" to a 10-2 regular season record with two bad losses in post season play. I agree about DeBoer, he's finesse and soft. But the decline was showing its head under Nick, it just accelerated after he left.

At their core, the offensive staff (including the HC) likes to scheme teams to death and not physically dominate them. They put a soft inconsistent product on the field that all it takes to beat is having the opponent show up and play physical.
THIS is the problem. DeBoer and Co. want to treat football like it's a game and you can scheme your way to victory. But this is the SEC and football here is a sport. Scheme is important, you need a good one, but at the end of the day the team that wins is usually the one that can line up and shove the other team off the ball, and we simply cannot do that.

Business owner to employee:
"So lets be clear here, you did outperform 127 of the 136 total salesmen in the country...and you did outperform 13 of the 16 regional salesmen...and you did best all of our hated rival companies...and of those two who outperformed you, you did technically split with him, stealing a big client from his home turf for first time in years...and you did take over a pretty bad situation with lots of established leads defecting and a difficult situation overall...and you did technically show improvement from last year...and no ive technically never sold anything and I did nothing to build this company...and yeah rival companies wanted to hire you...and no I have no idea who id replace you with...but the last guy, loved him. Daddy only kept me from firing him 3 times.
See, we have a standard at this company now that im in charge and its never make me feel bad, ever. You failed, and I dont like your personality so youre fired

Yeah and yall fired Saban after he failed against La Monroe and when he got Croomed. Thankfully, level headed people actually make the decisions

Everyone is crowing about Cignetti. He out coached us. Plain and simple. His boys bought in and they bought them. 65% of his starters were transfers. We have to do better job of using transfer portal to fill needs.
Let’s see where Indiana is in 3 years.
I still think Deboer is a good coach
We need better assistants
And Deboer needs to get a mean streak

Scotty I hear you but it’s pointless to try to go here right now. People are still too pissed off to be rational. They want to spew, let them get it out of their systems.

I said yesterday: I am a COO over a smaller company as well. By and large it is a very similar to the hierarchy of the head coach in terms of business. If one of my sales guys under performs, I am who the board looks at to fix it. Same with the management under me. If we have a few quarters of under achieving, the board is then forced to make decisions about me, or for me. That’s essentially where we are with Deboer. That said, he isn’t going any where. After some deliberation, this is where I am; we are going to be a finesse team under Deboer, it’s a bad style for our league and for winning championships, but we are in a place where we dance with the girl we brought. I watched the GA vs ole miss game last night, Ole Miss is a more finesse team than GA , but last night they had the ability to get into a bar fight and match blow for blow with the baddest dude in the bar. In my opinion it’s because they have a guy in Golding (absolutely a wild thing to admit) that will crawl someone’s arse. We have not a soul on staff that can or will do this. If Deboer wants to have a chance at a run at Bama, that has to change. That starts with S&C, our staff has no energy there, we are conducting a science experiment. We need monster builders. I’d be on the horn with coach Feld, or someone like that. I would then go to offensive line and get a guy that doesn’t want to win the line of scrimmage but a guy who wants us to take souls from the defensive fronts. Lastly, while Kane has done a stand up job, he too is passive. I would call Jeremy and let Kane explore other options as well. OC is untouchable, so everyone else on the offensive staff needs to be fire breathers. Anyone in business will tell you, the most important part of running or owning a business is surrounding yourself with people better than you, not your friends.
