We toss the term "elite" around too damn much. I recall Trevor Lawrence throwing one completion in a tight window. I don't recall Burrow throwing one damn pass in a tight window. Again our secondary is letting guys run free and not knowing their assignments. That's not elite quarterbacking. Rather, it's poor defensive coaching.

You kidding? The throw right in front of the pylon that should have been called for illegal touching by the receiver was a perfect throw through amazing coverage. If the receiver had done his part, that would have been a highlight reel moment.

Most of these college defenses suck. Seriously. LSU played an injured Florida defense and Auburn. That's it. We are the second best defense they've played and Burrow is good but not elite. My opinion. Deal with it.

If you don’t recall Burrow completing a pass in a tight window yesterday, then it’s your recollection that sucks. Not Burrow.
The controversial call to Moss was a perfect pass against excellent coverage from Diggs.
He hit several crossing routes right on the money against tight coverage.
The touchdown to CEH right before the half after Tua’s pick was a fairly tight window.
These are just off the top of my head without even rewatching.

Sour grapes. Both teams are obviously top 5 or top 6, and LSU played elitely while Bama didn't. LSU did what elite teams do.
Give credit where credit is due. Lose with class.

That was an elite offense. Scored more points in Tuscaloosa than any other team before. Burrow was efficient and beat us with his legs & arm. If that isn’t elite then I don’t know what to tell you.

There's a difference between an elite player and an elite system. Burrow is in an elite system. Saban said as much after the game.

No need in convincing me. They obviously have an elite system. Maybe Burrow isn't elite but he certainly looks the part this year.

They are definitely an elite team, it was clear they had tons of talent at QB, WR, and RB.
