They didn't have to pass with the amount of rushing yards given up. This loss want on the defense, but let's not act like the defense want getting it's rear handed to them on the ground.

They couldn't throw it they were basically out of WR's so they ran for 200 in the first half and you saw Hugh Freeze's game plan next week when they lined up took the air out of the game at the end, and we could not stop it.

Our coaches don’t make any adjustments. Wommack makes me long for Pete Golding. Sheridan is a massive downgrade from Tommy Rees.

He's just the largest, most glaringly obvious problem.

Oh, I don't know. One might say that the most glaringly obvious problem is the head coach who refuses to fix the most glaringly obvious problem on the field.

My beef with the staff (on top of not benching Radio) was there were ZERO adjustments. When it was clear OU was loading eight in the box most of the night, Sheridan had no answer or adjustments.

When it was pretty clear OU was going to try and run the ball more than usual, and we continued with only 3 down linemen most of the night. Again, ZERO adjustments by Wommack.

Totally agree about no adjustments - this is a pattern. When we get behind - we fold like a cheap suit

The two tackles are piss poor too. I’m not excusing 4 in any way, he sucks, but having big slow tackles that get abused in pass pro. Well….

I've been saying both Proctor and Pritchett are fat and out of shape. Both need to drop at least 20-30 lbs.

I’m going to go with a combination of things.

1 - the football IQ of this team overall is the worst I’ve seen. They are constantly out of position. It’s like they don’t understand what they’re supposed to do. I think part of that is a coaching change. Different assignments, probably different signals, almost certainly different terminology. When things are going well, they’re fine. ANY stress they fall into old habits I think and get confused. We may have to turn over the roster before that gets better.

2 - Our DC simply seems incapable of adjusting on the fly. One play it’s 3rd and 1. They’ve already run for over 100 yards and aren’t having to throw, everyone in the stands knows they’re going to run it. Everyone watching on TV knows. What do we have? 3 down linemen, I think we only had 5 guys within 15 yards of the center. I think they could have handed it to me and I’d have gotten a yard, and I’m old, with bad knees and a bad back.

The tackles just cannot handle a speed rush. Do we chip with a TE? Sometimes. Do we move a RB to the right, have him chip the guy over there then release. If you’ve seen that I sure can’t remember it.

3 - And of course Milroe. He makes the defense on the other side look great when he gets rattled. He stares down receivers. When he gets flushed out of the pocket instead of trying to get a few yards he chucks it into the stands. If the team likes this guy as much as rumors say, let them sit on the bench with him. He’s just about useless on the road when he gets shook.

4 - Road games. Playing on the road in the SEC is rough, we all get that. Our road wins this year are LSU, which honestly shocked me. Wisconsin, who is a terrible football team. This team just does not communicate well. THAT is on the coaching staff.

The adjustment would be to throw the ball down the field to lighten the box. The only problem last night is the receivers/TE's couldn't catch the ball, the tackles seem slow footed and couldn't block the ends and the QB......well, he just had a rough night to put it mildly, and the head coach is not gonna make a change. Not trying to start anything but with all of the problems above what are the good options/adjustments for Sheridan?

Sheridan is terrible at adjustments but he’s also really hamstrung with Radio at QB who’s clearly too stupid to run the offense.

Please Sweet Baby Jesus let Milroe move on after this season.

Then why doesn't the COACH put in another QB?!!

All I can deduce is the back ups are absolute garbage (see the USF game last year). But surely at this point they can't do much worse than Milroe... right?

It will forever remain one of life's greatest mysteries.

As far as the game plan adjusting goes, no amount of adjusting can be made with Milroe. None. I'm so skeptical about the backups now because I refuse to believe a coach is willing to sacrifice a win just to prevent hurt feelings. From a player's perspective, losses hurt even more but nothing hurts worse than seeing your draft stock decline because your QB is dog shite.
