A good defense will shut down this team. A road game will make Keelon wilt. The only games we for sure should win is Vanderbilt and Chattanooga.
I don't expect to win any other games. Do I expect to lose? No. But Deboer has shown he can lose to bad teams in embarrassing fashion. I wouldn't be shocked to beat LSU, even badly. But I don't expect it.

You summed it up nicely.

We beat UK on the road. Their only loss.

We’re also glancing over the fact we just played Jim Knowles, who’s arguably the best DC in college football.
There’s road games and then there’s absolutely nightmare games for a green QB.

It was over when Saban retired… anyone not thinking so is just holding on to delusion. It’s ok though… so much more in life to enjoy and bama will still be a good team. A playoff team when we go to 24.. just not a top 5

Yea we aren’t getting in with 3 losses. So either we win out or we are out. I think if we miss a fricking 12 team playoff then some big changes are going to have to be made. There is no excuse in any form why Alabama should not be in the playoffs every year.

Keelon's first pass was a pick 6. He played better in the second half, but overall he had a bad game. 1 TD, 2 INTs. -9 yards rushing. We won that game because the defense got 3 turnovers, including a pick 6, and the defense held them to 63 rushing yards.

Russell was 16 of 23 for 188 1 TD, 2 INT's.
He also rushed for 20 yds after the sack yds were removed.
First start on the road, 2nd start overall.

Unless DeBoer grows a pair none of us thinks he has and fires his long time buddy it is very much indeed over.
Firing Grub would be a start but like most problems, there is more than one variable to address.
- New coordinators both sides
- more NIL funds to address obvious talent deficiencies

What were we before Saban?

He also had a fumble in that game, so 3 first half turnovers.

We pretty much don't have a QB so how are we beating LSU or Auburn?
Posted on 10/18/26 at 9:56 pm to cmayes56
I don’t see how we beat aTm who has been terrible but half the team is injured at key positions. Have a shot at LSU if we are healed up in 3 weeks.

In 2006, nobody knew what The Process or MTAQ was…but we knew what we had the time wasn’t what Alabama Football is supposed to be. We knew we wanted and deserved better than the product that was on the field.
What we saw yesterday on the field in Knoxville wasn’t Alabama football.
