The more I think about it he wanted to do this regardless. He’s not a 1st or 2nd round projected player and there are still a lot of bodies at WR here to contend with…and he’s concerned the passing game won’t be fixed with Milroe.
Texas lost Mitchell and Worthy. They throw it a lot and Ewers is back. He’s trying to get a big pay day to Texas then get to a 1st round pick. That’s all this is.
