Is anyone else sick of Ty Simpson before he has ever started a single game?

First. I know nothing about him. Have no issues with him. And after tonight I'm pretty much over Milroe and all his Lank bull. And I have no problem with Ty seeing some snaps. But ...
I mean here is a guy that got beat out by Tyler Buckner and Milroe. And yet, he is an object of great sympathy... like he has been wrong or something.
He plays against South Florida. Does nothing. Then you have this whole mythology about the team quitting on him and not blocking for him. And not helping him up. Etc
And I'm not buying any of it we had the same issues this year with South Florida.
And yet to hear these people, he has next year wrapped up. And the best QB in this years recruiting class is going to sit for two years behind Ty Simpson. Fat chance.
But the clincher is, I hear Ty is some big man on campus and hear about the prominence of his family. All sketchy.
Is it a cult?
Is it two cults battling for the locker room?
Open freaking competition. This year and next. That's what I want to see. I want to see our new frosh QB come in with a real chance at playing.
There is no such thing as earning anything when your arse is on the bench.
I knew that Saban was sort of like a dictator, like Tito or Franco, or Sadam, who kept order and kept all the idiot cults at bay. And I knew when he left the nuts would come out of the woodwork.

If people really thought Simpson is the QB for Deboers offense, well then wouldn’t Austin Mack have the inside track on that?
I mean he’s been in DeBoer’s system before… learning… so explain why Simpson is better, with SLIGHTLY more game time?

I thought this post would be satire based on the title. It seems like you're actually serious. This loss has done a number on people

Do everyone a favor and play in traffic.

Ask insiders who has been the best all spring and summer by a decent margin.

Im on the anyone but Milroe team. I've seen enough. He doesn't even make big plays from time to time anymore. He pulls up, gets scared, and can't handle any adversity without shitting himself. He is a weak, self centered player. For the love of God play someone else.

It has more to do with people hoping the backup QB can better. Maybe he isn’t or maybe he is. But we know Milroe isn’t it

There is no evidence that Ty is anything special. And that's why I find this talk rather curious and these references to family and his leadership on campus.
Someone please clue me in. How has Simpson developed this super loyal following?

Did BAMA take any deep shots vs Tenner? I don't remember any deep balls. And I know they played some man and cover 1.

Dude, just come out and state whatever point are you trying to make. Stop trying to be all cute with this dumbass question. You’ve seen the same Ty Simpson playing time the rest of us have. What are you getting at?

Yes. I've seen him play. I don't see it. I don't see a great prospect. We usually end up punting when he plays.

Are you new to football? The backup QB at every school is the greatest QB in history.

I was on this board during the Tua Hurts controversy. Tua was twice the QB six weeks into his freshman season. It was obvious and I wanted him to start BUT Tua was a much much bigger, better prospect on film and the talent was obvious. Ty isn't in the same ballpark.

On four of his seven drives (USF/WKU) he's scored a touchdown so... no we don't usually punt when he plays
The reason people want him isn't because he has a stronger arm or runs faster. It's because people think he can move the chains more reliably instead of having to hit a deep bomb or a long run (which he can also do).
