Will you all actually let this play out and see how Mac and Young does before we do this? My god BY just graduated high school a couple of weeks ago and everyone is acting like Mac Jones can’t get better. I give Mac credit because when he came here I thought he was going to be a career backup. If Sark can do what he did with Jalen why can’t he make Mac an SEC qb? Because of three games?
ETA because of a couple of picks against Auburn? That’s about the only argument I’ve actually seen against him.

Well, it's not even Spring Ball yet and my Tua/Jalen prediction has already come true

He hit Najee right in the back. That was a lucky INT. If Najee turned he may have had the ball. Mac doesn’t play defense either.

“If Najee would’ve turned”
What are you talking about bro. How is a guy supposed to make a 180 turn while running full speed the other direction. The d wasn’t great but they were good enough to win. You guys have been blinded by useless stats and didn’t pay attention to Mac’s play. Those two pics were the worst combo of bad passes we have ever had in the Saban era. One is a mistake. Forgivable. Two? That’s been careless with the ball. Kids in Pop Warner known to throw that ball away on 1st and goal from the 2.

Uhh it was a pass to the running back. Its called throwing to a spot you know like leading your receiver. Maybe Najee was supposed to catch the freaking ball. Hate on Mac all you want.

Leading the receiver would’ve been great. He threw an awful pass that hit Najee in the back. The only way Najee would’ve had any chance to catch it is if he had an extra set of hands on his back.

Mac played very average against Auburn.
Engineering 38 offensive points against that defense isn’t very average. Think Burrow would’ve liked to have done that against them?
Mac is not Tua, but he’s not Star Jackson either.

So one is forgivable but two just makes him careless with the ball and a shitty qb? Talk about being blinded by useless stats my god

You guys are all falling in love with Mac because Sark had an incredible game plan against Auburn. Mac played very average against Auburn. Don’t let stats cloud what you actually saw on the field. He had about 5 1st down passes he missed because he was late and behind the receiver. He threw the worst interception combo we have ever seen on a Saban team. He’s ok. You guys are crazy if you think he’s even close to Jalen much less Tua.
THANK YOU!
I’m reading these posts like, “Am I crazy?”
This Mac Jones obsession has gone WAY overboard. People saying he’s elite and will jump early to the NFL. What the frick are you all smoking?
Do you know football? Anything about football?
Are your glasses dark crimson?
Mac Jones wouldn’t even start over Bo Nix at Auburn next season, and that’s the fricking truth. Accept it.

No way you can accurately make this statement.

Mac if he loses the job is mostly likely going to do the same thing Jalen did. Play out this year as the back up and do a grad transfer. It doesn't benefit him to transfer the beginning of next year just to sit out anyway. He is mostly likely going to get better training with Sark and the Bama staff than he will get where he transfers given his skill set. With Tua gone honestly there is a good chance Lia will transfer regardless.

Looks like we’re really going to have a Jalen/Tua 2.0 this off-season

Nevermind Mac already graduated.
But he isn't going to leave in the middle of the Master's program, those credits are a pain in the arse to transfer .

Mac graduated already. Saban will start him game one or won’t announce a starter until game time to try and keep him. He technically could transfer now and play immediately

No, but we can guess. If Mac Jones transferred to Auburn right now, do you really think he’d be able to unseat Bo Nix?
I say no

He really wants thay Sports Hospitality Master's though. No way he leaves before that program is up.
