Blood clots like Christian Baremore dealt with. It almost ended his career. Took about 18 months and he was able to play against. Prayers up for 22!

"All those guys a couple weeks down the road will be definitely good to go."

Sucks they're out Sat...but if we can avoid injury this weekend, sounds like close to full strength for the cfp.

I saw somewhere Blood Clots for Overton. But he did the interview after practice yesterday and seemed fine.

Maybe he has Covid?

Blood clots sound crazy dangerous. I am glad they caught it before he kept playing

Trauma can lead to blood clots especially in the legs. These guys are so active likely he is hypercoaguable plus trauma if he has one. Covid makes everyone hypercoaguable for a few months. Some folks just have the genetic predisposition Factor V Leiden AT 3 etc. If it’s clots he’s out for at least 3 months. Very unfortunate given he was the hero of the 1st game.

You sound like you know about this stuff. Is there any way to clear up blood clots or is that something that just must pass on its own?

Blood clots thing is a MB rumor and makes no sense considering DeBoer’s comments about them being out. I’m thinking Covid or flu makes a lot more sense.

Not the doc, but....no to your question, but pharmaceutical "blood thinners" are available.

Just when he finally has a good game again

Last time, he had good games against Vandy and Mizzo, gets hurt, and struggles in every game until the AU but is now hurt again

I’m sure it’s frustrating for him

The 2021 team was much more banged up than this one. And the majority of our current injuries are not season ending like that team had to fight through.
