I know they're very good on defense but not familiar with their personnel.

If they don't have a great individual edge pass rusher then we're not getting the worst matchup possible.

However we will definitely need better run threat than we have gotten. Well coached teams will eat that shite up if you are out of balance. Underrated element of the first UGA game is that we were going forward on runs albeit not consistently effective. We stayed committed to running and started popping 5-8 yarders in the 2nd half.

We probably need a game like that from our OL and backs. Just don't let these guys play the pass exclusively.

Do you watch other games to see how other team's OLs are doing? Did you see what we did to Oklahoma's?

Did you see Indiana's OL get caved in by OSU?

OLs struggle; ALL of them. Not just ours.

Because it is terrible. They pass protect poorly. They run block poorly. They are among the worst units we have had this century and their only comps are from the Shula or Debose eras.

I could be wrong, but this Indiana team is giving me 2012 ND vibes.

A lot of our pass protection issues comes from needing to use backs to chip the edge so much that it is easy to overwhelm the interior OL with an additional pass rusher from the interior linebackers. The other big protection issue is sometimes our OTs just get beaten too bad to do anything about it. Our OTs have been slow footed most of the year.

And we often still call plays where every route is 15+ yards downfield against those extra rushers. If you know that the OL struggles to pick up blitzes and call a bunch of plays that require great blitz pick ups, that's more of a playcalling issue to me. I just don't think they've been terrible. Not great, but there have probably been a dozen sacks this season that can be directly blamed on the playcalls or Ty. South Carolina has a bad passblocking OL. They were giving up pressure against 3 man rushes all season. You at least typically have to blitz to make us look like shite.
