Nope. That's just ESPN these days though. They have to have one person take a contrarian position on literally everything to generate rage views. Everyone agreeing on a topic that is even remotely controversial is bad for ratings. It's part of the whole "embrace debate" nonsense, even though in practice that usually just ends up being two morons screaming hot takes at each other. The SEC made such a big mistake getting in bed with them.

It seems like a lot of bleeding heart types will throw logic out of the window because they're sad about Jordan Travis. They care about fairness over any other consideration. It's just not fair that FSU's best player got hurt and their offense turned into Iowa!

I have yet to see a single one say they think FSU would beat Bama. Not one. That's very telling.

At the end of the day, he makes a lazy argument. In college football, there is so much variance in schedules that simply saying a team that went 13-0 must be better than a team that went 12-1 is ludicrous.

I didn’t see him making an argument for Liberty. All they did was win every game. Why aren’t they in? Because schedule matters. FSU played a garbage schedule compared to the other contenders.
