I agree with OP that this would be an awesome cheer for everyone there Tuesday night.
But on Wednesday this cheer would really suck and shouldn’t be done. It’s just not a good Wednesday cheer.

This is even dumber the second time. Both your and you're are words (albeit, one's a contraction) and cannot be a spelling issue. It's about your use of one over the other and that makes it a grammar issue

No it doesn’t. It makes it a failure to add a contraction while typing on a phone. Grammar has to do with subject-verb agreement, participles and objects of participles and the like. Just admit that you are wrong when trying to correct a person who corrected someone else. Take your lumps.
