I don’t want him benched unless it’s looking like we won’t win the IB without making a change, but your statement of “not close” means one of three things:
1) we need a whole new QB room next year (which no one believes)
2) we need a new coach (most aren’t ready to go there yet) or
3) your take is blatantly false.
I’ll let you decide which one of the three is true.

How is that pointing out my statement is false?...
In the past 5.5 games he's;
126/196 (64.3%)
1456 yards through the air, 7.7 AY/A
9 TDs
2 Picks (Excluding the hail Mary from yesterday)
3 Fumbles
The SP + defensive ranks of those teams are
Missouri - 15th
Tennessee - 49th
South Carolina - 27th
LSU - 9th
Oklahoma - 3rd
That's... not remotely close to benchable lol. You just look like a confident clown.

I stand corrected, it’s 7 straight. According to Grok, no other QB in the SEC has a 7 game turnover streak this year (although I’m not sure I trust Grok).
Saying we’re not close to benchable QB play after seeing the last 4 games including what should have been a legitimate 2 picks against Eastern Illinois (I don’t count the Hail Mary) just doesn’t make any sense at all. He’s as much responsible for the OU loss as anyone else, and he played pretty bad against USC & LSU. You might not like the facts, but it won’t make them not the facts. He hasn’t played well in many weeks.

This poster is the reason SOG doesn't come around anymore.

He literally played half a game against Eastern Illinois. If it was a clown attempt I would've removed Eastern Illinois

Brother, you used 5.5 so you could include Miz and UT and magically left off a 3 win Eastern Illinois from your SP+ statement (even if SP+ doesn’t rank a team as bad as Eastern Illinois, that just points to how biased the post was to exclude them from the list). 2.5 or 3.5 would have been way worse, which is why you didn’t do it.
Not to mention that you had 5 total turnovers taking away the Hail Mary but not crediting the dropped int as one, and still couldn’t get the TOs correct. He’s had at least one in every single game for the past 7 games, so your 5.5 sample size would have to have at least 6 TOs (even excluding the Hail Mary and not counting the dropped int which is clearly a biased take).

You said six games, six turnovers in a row. That's six straight games. I said 5.5 to put in perspective he didn't play a half. It's six games either way, it's not like i'm cutting off a half of Mizzou here. Im just pointing out on volume statistics he didn't play a second half against Eastern Illinois

Am... I supposed to care about Eastern Illinois?
I'm under the impression we all know they're a horrendous defense compared to FBS counterparts. What are you looking for here?...

I listed six turnovers, as you stated, and then said the hail mary is basically a throw it up who cares, not a poor throw or missed read. If i'm supposed to read your mind and add unmentioned dropped picks, go for it I guess? I'm not sure what your complaint is here.
You're flailing here and i'm not following.

Go back and look at the numbers again as I’m pretty sure it would be at least 7 if you include the Hail Mary. He can’t have had only 6 with the Hail Mary if he had at least 1 turnover in all 6 games and had multiple in the EI game. That means the minimum is 6 if you take away the Hail Mary, but you have only 5.
I’m not sure how you don’t understand that taking an actual TO off the board (the Hail Mary) while not adding should have been turnovers is clearly biasing the statistics. Maybe read up on sample manipulation when it comes to statistics.
