That's why you need a system. Patriots lose coaches left and right, and the beat goes on. Was the same way for Nebraska under Osborne.

You go after Leonhard until he says us. He'll know if he's dc at Bama, he's fast tracked for a major hc gig sooner than later.

Just speculating, if muschamp is fired, would love to let him come be the DC till Saban retires.

God, we don't need to keep changing coaches

We do when we have bad ones.
You look at LSU and see what a difference one coordinator can make.

We need an elite young OC under 40
The game today is all about innovative offense. Sark isn’t cutting it.

Some of you are unbelievable. You don't know football from monkey dook. Goldielox is the problem, not Sark.

Need to get a Rileyesque type coach. Quick thinker, someone who can actually call a 2 min offense in 2 minutes. Not a 2 minute offense in 5 minutes

We need a legit new school OC. Somebody with swagger.

This epitomizes why we are where we are. Yes, I'll get downvoted to Bolivian, but this "new school" offense we have sold our souls for has made us soft.
When you face a hard-nosed, physical offense in practice every day, it makes you hard-nosed and physical on defense. Does anyone apply those attributes to our defenses of the last 2 years? Sloppy tackling. Getting pushed around at the point of attack.

If it was me, I'd prefer we go back to the McElwain era offense. You know, where we pushed people around instead of vice versa? We damn sure wouldn't be in shotgun on 3rd and inches.

We have become exactly what we used to laugh at others about - soft on defense, finesse on offense.

You keep banging this "under 40" drum like it's a magic bullet.

Cincinnati Bengals say hello.
Lincoln Riley vs. Kansas St says hello.
5-4 LA Rams say hello.

SoFla Tideroller hit the nail on the head, we've moved too far past our identity and it shows.

I just want to maintain some coaching consistency - I don't think Sark is going anywhere.

I like the RPO portion of the offense and it needs to stay as it neutralizes a good defense but yes, we need to get back to more of a power run game base package once Tua and the receivers leave this year.

Sorry but that’s what football is now. Auburn has a “soft” offense and a pretty damn good defense. So did Clemson last year.

No. The problem is that Saban keeps trying to be “new school” by hiring these older west coast OCs that made their hay 15 years ago. Why can’t we hire the equivalent of Lane Kiffin at USC in 2005? Kiffin’s prime was 15 years ago, and you guys want to bring him back. I think he’s still good, but why can’t we get a young guy who’s on the cutting edge?

We obviously need a better DC too, and maybe that’s more important right now, but our offense punted way too many times vs a suspect LSU defense. Sark shite the bed. 6 points in the first half. Joe Brady showed us what a real offense looks like
