Saban has wanted him in the past and I would think even Golding has started to wear on him. Would be a huge upgrade IMO.

I mentioned Leonhard a while back and was told he was coach in waiting IIRC. I think he would be a good fit.

I saw where some analyst said that Ryan Day could be on the hot seat in Columbus after losing 2 straight to UM.
I think Day is a legit top 5 coach in the business, and they would be insane to let him go. Wonder if he’d be interested in being the OC at Bama for a couple of years and then taking the reins when Saban retires?

Multiple sources posting it's done and will be announced shortly. One source is Alvarez so I'd say it's solid. I have to imagine Saban is at least talking with Leonhard. Dear 6lb 8oz baby Jesus.....
